Andrea's Lips – A 5 Minute Fiction

Andrea makes fish lips at Jon from behind the cash register at Burger King.

Jon is taken aback. His shirt is untucked.

At the fry station, Jeremy cackles at both of them.

Jeremy probably wants Andrea to make fish lips at him, but Andrea knows this, so she never will.

Jon thinks that Andrea is too fat for him.

Andrea is tall too, and she looks down at Jon, literally and figuratively; she only makes fish lips at him to practice her flirting. It means nothing to her.

Seth is the guy that she's really interested in.

Seth is not present. He doesn't work at Burger King anymore; in fact, he doesn't even go to school anymore. He is 17 and dropped out. Now he is just waiting to join the army, as soon as his next birthday rolls around.

Jon would like to tuck his shirt in, to get ready for work. But, strangely, even though he thinks Andrea is too fat for him, he now has a boner. Tucking his shirt in would not be a good idea.

A customer comes into the restaurant, an old gentleman. The kids look at him with veiled eyes, believing that he has no idea of their world.

Yeah, the story has potential! I was left wanting to know if in the end something would come up between Andrea and Jon.
