A cool walk in Porlamar. Paseo Guaraguao. Isla de Margarita. Venezuela [Esp/Eng]

La isla de Margarita, conocida también como la perla del Caribe, posee muchos atractivos turísticos, playas paradisíacas, playas con condiciones para practicar deportes acuáticos, pueblos históricos, castillos. fortines, montañas para el senderismo, ciudad, comercio y mucho más lo tiene esta bella isla.

Hoy los quiero llevar al paseo guaraguao, un bello lugar localizado en la ciudad de Porlamar.

Porlamar se caracteriza por ser el área comercial de nuestra isla, está constituida por múltiples edificios, hoteles, supermercados, casinos, museos, los bulevares Gómez/ Guevara y muchos locales comerciales donde encontrarás de todo un poco, pero, en medio de todo lo mencionado, hay un lugar que rompe completamente el esquema típico de los centros urbano- económicos de las ciudades. Les estoy hablando del paseo Guaraguao.

Este lugar se encuentra al final de la avenida santiago Mariño de Porlamar, es un espacio mágico con una larga caminería asfaltada que bordea a la cálida playa de guaraguao, les comento, apenas llegas a este sitio, vas a sentir una energía de calma, Paz y tranquilidad, te sientes increíble, entras en un estado de relajación, bienestar y admiración por la inmensidad de la naturaleza, específicamente de "la mar" como es llamada popularmente en nuestra isla, es nombrada en femenino porque dicen que la mar, es como la madre, es la que nos provee el alimento.

En el trayecto te vas a encontrar la sede del sistema nacional de orquesta, núcleo guaraguao, lo que hace más relajante aún este paseo, pues vas caminando al son de las suaves y delicadas melodías instrumentales de la orquesta, que se oyen en gran parte del recorrido, ellos realizan sus ensayos todas las tardes de lunes a viernes, es majestuoso oírlos.

Caminando y con la mirada en la mar, ves las embarcaciones y peñeros realizando su faena de pesca, gaviotas volando alrededor, aguas cristalinas, sol amarillo azafranado, el aire en este espacio físico con ese paisajismo se los juro que es singular, las preocupaciones se van, solo quedas tú y la admiración con el agradecimiento por el privilegio de la vida.

Al final del paseo, para cerrar con broche oro, vas a encontrar el faro de Porlamar. Imponente, rojo colorido, atrapa tu atención inmediatamente; imposible no tomarle fotos. Este faro sirve de guía para los pescadores durante su rutina marinera, tiene más de 100 años de fundado y mide 17 metros de alto.

Margarita Island, also known as the pearl of the Caribbean, has many tourist attractions, paradisiacal beaches, beaches with conditions for water sports, historic towns, castles. Forts, mountains for hiking, city, commerce and much more is what this beautiful island has.

Today I want to take you to Paseo Guaraguao, a beautiful place located in the city of Porlamar.

Porlamar is characterized for being the commercial area of our island, it is constituted by multiple buildings, hotels, supermarkets, casinos, museums, the Gomez/Guevara boulevards and many commercial establishments where you will find a little bit of everything. But, in the middle of everything mentioned, there is a place that completely breaks the typical scheme of the urban-economic centers of the cities. I am talking about the Guaraguao Promenade.

This place is located at the end of Santiago Mariño Avenue in Porlamar, it is a magical space with a long asphalted walkway that borders the warm Guaraguao beach, You feel incredible, you enter a state of relaxation, well being and admiration for the immensity of nature, specifically "the sea" as it is popularly called in our island, it is named in feminine because they say that the sea is like the mother, it is the one that provides us with food.

On the way you will find the headquarters of the national orchestra system, guaraguao nucleus, which makes this walk even more relaxing, because you are walking to the sound of the soft and delicate instrumental melodies of the orchestra, which can be heard in much of the tour, they perform their rehearsals every afternoon from Monday to Friday, it is majestic to hear them.

Walking and looking at the sea, you see the boats and peñeros doing their fishing, seagulls flying around, crystal clear waters, saffron yellow sun, the air in this physical space with that landscape I swear it is unique, the worries are gone, only you and the admiration and gratitude for the privilege of life.

At the end of the walk, to close with a flourish, you will find the lighthouse of Porlamar. Imposing, colorful red, it catches your attention immediately; impossible not to take pictures of it. This lighthouse serves as a guide for fishermen during their seafaring routine, it is more than 100 years old and measures 17 meters high.
