Simple and Complex Approach To Tasks And Terms

“The secret of getting ahead is getting started. The secret of getting started is breaking your complex overwhelming tasks into small manageable tasks, and starting on the first one.” ~ Mark Twain

One of life's harsh truths is that we will always have more regrets about things we didn't get to do.

While we are busy doing other things that distract us from what we should be doing, we lose the chance of doing what's right in front of us and right for us.

One of the reasons people find it hard to start a business, build a company, launch a project, read a new book or start a blog today is because of how complex and complicated we have imagined them to be in our heads.

This make some people to exaggerate or overeact on the effort that will be needed to start or stay ahead. Of which over time mostly leads to burnouts.

Some terms and concepts about life also looks complex or too complex at first, especially when we were still very young. The boogeyman under the bed is one prime example of this.

To make the student understand your point and learn something its best to be able to explain them simply.
Every so often, there are people who like to inflate their egos by explaining simple terms in complex forms just to create fear or stire an emotion in people.

We indeed fear what we don't know nor understand.

The secret of starting and completing any task or understanding any terms, no matter how complex it may be is to break them into tiny manageable activities and understandable words. This will make the work look like a walk. You don't have to think about how to start to walk, you just do it. Then, with each step, we draw closer to our destination.

Taking it one step at a time is a simple task to accomplish at a time , to thinking about how many overall steps are to be taken before you reach your destination. When you want to make a journey simple, you simple just do the simple task, “walk” and keep walking without complicating things with how many thousand or millions steps is needed to get ahead and reach your goal.

If you have a tough task at hand, simply starting now with one small and simple task at a time always prove to be the only way to endure and get ahead.

What approach do you use in getting things done and understanding complex concepts? You break them into tiny tasks and terms, to explain in simple words, or consider them too complex to handle, and describe them in a tough tone that makes others refrain from even thinking about starting.

a case of paralysis over analysis, agree to break down tasks into manageable terms in order not to be overwhelmed with whatever seems daunting at the time to do, thanks for sharing your enlightening article on this 😊
