On a Journey of Career Growth and Success

avatar

A bit more spontaneous and off-the-cuff today, but I figured why not share a little more of my personal life as I continue looking for more stable work and focusing on building my career. I am letting my mind think on the spot for this post i didn't want to plan to much in advance and overcomplicate it.

It has been a very busy week for me this month, i am trying to create a new cv/resume in the hope that companies will start getting back to me. I have also been doing little things on my Linkedin i am still quite new to it and well i guess there is a learning curve with this sort of thing

This year i am desperate for a new job after such a disasterous year at my current employment being 0 hour contracts, lack of work and a struggle of enjoying life it has put me in a mindset to seek change. Job applying is challenging and i have been very open and applying in many more sectors than i would have normally gone for this includes going for some jobs that i consider being above me but it won't stop me from trying, i have also been applying for remote based jobs in London as i actually don't mind commuting and i have heard working in London can be quite fun and interesting.

I aim to try and connect with people globally, forming meaningful relationships in my professional journey and also here on this amazing Hive blockchain platform that continues to break through barriers. I believe strong connections lead to growth and opportunity.

If you have any advice regarding CV/Resumes, Linkedin or anything to do with job seeking and careers please do reach out.

Thanks for reading

I've not changed job much recently. It's about 10 years since the last time, but I did look at Linkedin then. Current job came via an agency. At my age I may not have to go through that again, but I expect you are still early in your career. Have to find something you enjoy doing, but it can be worth trying something different. I worked abroad for a couple of years after uni.

Well I'm glad you seem to be in a job you enjoy and yeah I've done retail, warehouse and factory work and now courier delivery work and honestly I didn't mind them. They all had pros and cons I'm pretty much open to doing anything. Working aboard sounds really cool I haven't looked to much into it maybe I'll give it a look if it doesn't require school grades as I didn't get those during my time at school. I Appreciate the comment 😊
