A Weekend full of activities and fun
it is my first full weekend off from work in A while and I wanted to do something fun. We made plans and we actually did so much throughout the weekend.
Saturday
Saturday
The weather on Saturday was great, the sun was out and we headed to the coast. We decided to do A minigolf/crazy golf course one we haven't done before as they have strange opening hours and despite it being indoors their opening times are weather dependent too.
if you saw my Liketu post late last night you would know that I published this photo yesterday and the reason this is the first photo on today's post is because of all the 9-holes I played this was my favorite. It was very nicely decorated and the course overall was challenging.
The courses are quite small but with so much decoration and detail it was very good to play on.
The telephone box on the course actually wasn't glued down so I just had to pick up the phone, no one was on the line though hehe.
The creepiest hole of them all was definitely the clown-themed hole with human-sized clown models everywhere and creepy music adding to the theme with very nice glowing lighting to make it hard to see.
We moved onto A beach-themed hole and I just had to grab A pic with the surfer dude.
We finally made it to the final hole and it was Elvis Presley themed! with casino theming too. what made this hole good but very punishing in terms of scoring is that you have to spin the big roulette wheel and then play the ball and whatever number on the wheel the ball lands you must add to your score. Overall A very punishing hole.
After the minigolf, we decided to walk along the seafront and stopped for A coffee and a bite to eat. we were very tempted by the arcades but we decided to instead visit A vintage old-fashioned arcade instead which uses different coins compared to today's currency.
A very old machine but simple to play a bit like pinball simply hit the marble-sized ball very hard but not too hard so it goes around the loops and as it slows it will hopefully fall into the middle gaps to win coins or sadly miss and lose. It was quite addicting to play after winning 4 times in A row. They did have 6-8 more of these with different theming too.
A very old claw machine used A small circle handle to control all the axis so it was very hard to control but quite easy to win the small bouncy balls.
After watching the sunset at the beach we decided to head home and spend the evening watching A movie before bed wrapping up A very good Saturday.
Sunday, A SublimeSunday!
This was the day I was eagerly excited for it was time to visit the Zoo, one I haven't visited before. We have A zoo pass for another zoo but because it's owned by the same organization it was a free entry which was excellent. The Zoo was an hour's drive away and it is Africa themed so lots of big animals!
What really made this zoo visit even more fun is that the weather forecasted rain but it never rained and the zoo was almost empty with only A few people here and there.
There were plenty of Giraffs out and it was very fun to observe surprisingly we got very close.
Sadly I can't quite remember what this animal was called it escaped my mind but it came right up to the glass so I snapped A photo while I could.
Again my mind has gone blank and I can't quite remember the name but this animal was very interested in me watching and following me along the glass window.
Here we have the big Rhinos! many rhinos and even A newborn baby Rhino born within the last 2 months which was extremely cool to see.
Lots of furry friends in this enclosure are very cute!
Unfortunately, we weren't able to see every animal as some where kept inside and away as the weather had forecasted wind and rain but we saw most of what we wanted to include A tiger but I forgot to photograph on this occasion.
We left the Zoo around 2 hours before closing time and we timed it perfectly because when we got into the car it finally decided to rain very heavily but it cleared after an hour.
As we got to the zoo very early and got done way before we expected so we decided to visit the local coast near the zoo sadly it kept raining so we just stopped in A budget restaurant for A bite to eat before heading back home.

Golfing is fun , i do mini golf and i am pretty good at it because it is fun :D
Yes absolutely love playing I quite good too and Im always on the hunt to find challenging golfing experiences
Hmmm i usually pick the ones outside , some are kind of abandonned and you find leafs and little rocks , that makes it super hard to play , therefore very challenging.
Golfing is cool , mini golf is very different.
