Thanks for sharing you day with us, i live in the northern part of my country and they are very few river, and those rivers are polluted by alot of things, my mother always makes sure, to keep us from water, i don't actually know her reason for that,maybe it because of the pollution i don't know or she have an experience that she don't want to share, but she constantly make sure that we are not anyway close to the sea, now am studying marine engineering and swimming is one of the basic requirements you need for the course, it now that i am even learning how to swim. Anyways your habour looks amazing, the fishing boat the walkway and the captures are just amazing.

Perhaps at one time the rivers were polluted or had something in them that people were not allowed in them. Hard to tell.
Interesting that you are studying marine engineering! :) But, yes, swimming is a basic requirement for anyone working on the water. Good luck and just relax! It comes easier then.
The harbor is nice and I love spending time down there.
