Today was a new day, and I was task to train newbies in basketball, somethings that I haven’t done for a while, but if I am call upon something I will make sure that I deliver, it was easy task to do, but at first I was frustrate towards their behaviour, but later they fall in-line, first we start with a jog, jogging around the court five times, then we go on suicide, then back-paddle, after which a general body stretch, and some few off the ball drills, before they start bouncing the ball, which they start with stationary bouncing, then step by step bouncing, then a lay-up, which it took them time before they can get it right, they always take three steps instead of two, and this are the people that wanted to play a 3-3 games, before a arrive, they have already start shooting and forcing themselves into shooting 3 point, that the ball couldn’t go anywhere, I guess, that how it is for newbies they all want to become Steph curry, not knowing that he have spent all his life doing that, thinking that he is just lucky, when I started too, I have that same mentality also then, that once I practise for a month I will be able to shoot as that, but years in the game has taught me that time and consistence is what you need in the game to become as good, not necessary to become as good as the people that inspired you, two years ago, when I was in 400l, someone met me and told me that I was the reason he started playing basketball, this is someone I train but for me to be the reason he start playing basketball that’s huge, and a big remark for me. After the day game, the coach called me and said it was a great thing I am doing, and I should make sure that they work out before anything and ensure that they know how to lay-up if it is the only thing we do for the day, according to him is the easiest way to make a basket.

Great work man.

It's always a beautiful thing to teach people, as you tend to learn from them.

I would come and learn how to throw hoops soon 😅

I love basketball from afar. I have never played the game before and I am not tall. That's one of the reasons why I am not motivated to play the game.
