Ladies Of Hive Contest #159. What Am Most Passionate About.
That word passion keeps ringing in my mind since I came across this contest because, i have up to four things that am passionate about. Not just being passionate about them, but working hard to make those Passions a reality.
Am passionate about Education.
Education has been something that i love with all my heart right from my childhood. My parents didn't enroll me in school on time. Each time i see children of my age coming back from school then, I fee so intimidated. At the age of 6, I was enrolled in primary school by my parents. I did well in my primary school and after that, no money for me to further my education to College level. I started working hard with my parents because i needed to learn how to read, write and speak good English.
At the end of the day, my late mother saw the passion in me, she got me registered in Secondary School. When i finished my secondary School, i couldn't further to higher institution or University level due to lack of finance. But the passion is still there. I have promised myself that I must become a graduate even if it is in my old age.
Right now, my daughter is in one the best Schools in my area and she is really doing well Academically. Due to my passion for education, my daughter must become a graduate and possible, i might graduate with her.
Am passionate about Fashion.
When it comes to fashion I don't joke with it because looking good is a good business lolz. When you dress well, poeple will respect you, they might even think that you have lots of money even when you don't have. I can remember when I was still a child, i had this passion for fashion but my late parents couldn't afford to offer me my taste of clothes and shoes. So, I don't easily associate with my fellow kids because i always looks different and intimidated. Since i starts making money myself, i give my body what it needs.
Passion for food.
When i talk of food here, i mean it. I love eating good food, that's why each time that i couldn't afford to eat what I need, it pains me. Due to my love for food, i make sure i work to feed well.
Lastly, i want to own a home. That's another important thing that am passionate about. Right now, am living as a tenant in someone's house. Am not comfortable living there. I need a home of my own. Sometimes, landlord or fellow tenants became a problem to you or house rent issues. So, am passionate about having my own house, infact i am passionate about having my own tenants because it's a life time investment.
Why am passionate about having my own house is that, i can have little garden in my backyard. Hahahaha, that will save me some money of buying vegetables. I can now comfortably plant vegetables and eat them fresh each time I want to.
