农历新年快到了。新加坡宏茂桥市中心有许多临时摊位，出售农历新年商品，食品，年花，盆栽，年饼，灯笼和新年装饰等等，玲珑满目。
让我带你们一游宏茂桥中心的年货市场。

Hello everybody,
Lunar New Year is coming soon. There are many temporary set up stalls in Ang Mo Kio Town Center, Singapore for selling Lunar New Year goods, foods, flowers, plants, cookies, lanterns, and many decoration products.
Let me bring your guys to Ang Mo Kio Lunar New Year Market. Lunar New Year Market is built temporary in Ang Mo Kio Center during Lunar New Year period.

A big statue of the God of Wealth is set up here which can be landmark of center market. The Lunar New Year’s songs are played all the time in the streets and alleys, so there is New Year’s ambience while walking around in center market.

这里搭起了一尊财神爷像，可以作为中心市场的标志性建筑。农历新年的歌曲大街小巷处处可播放，很有过新年的气氛。

There are twelve Chinese Zodiac signboards under the statue of God of Wealth. Most of passers-by will stop to see their zodiac fortune when they are passing-by.

财神爷神像下面有十二生肖。大多数的路人经过时都会停下脚步，阅读自己的生肖运程。

Twelve Chinese Zodiac includes Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig. Which is your Chinese zodiac?

十二生肖，鼠，牛，虎，兔，龙，蛇，羊，猴，鸡，狗和猪。你是什么生肖呢？

The red deco papers with written auspicious blessings are only selling during Chinese New Year. Most of Chinese likes to paste the red deco papers on house walls and doors which enhance the New Year ambience in house.

写着吉祥祝福语的红色贴纸仅在农历新年是最畅销。因为大家喜欢把家里装饰得红彤彤的，才有新年气息。

There are potted plants and flowers selling in the market, especially Chinese New Year plants and flowers such as Silver Willow, Mandarin orange, Chrysanthemum, Dessert Rose, and etc.

年货市场出售很多年花和盆栽，尤其是银柳，菊花，富贵花，橘子等等。

There are some artificial plants too such as orchids, daisy, plum blossom, cherry blossoms, peony, and etc.

还有一些假花，例如兰花，菊花，梅花，牡丹，樱花等等。

Public are busy shopping for their Chinese New Year house decoration stuffs meanwhile buying the Chinese New Year cookies and biscuits. There are variety favour of the cookies such as egg rolls, pineapple tarts, Almond cookies, seaweed cookies, chocolate cookies, peanut cookies, prawn rolls, butter cookies and etc.

人们都在忙着购买过年的装饰还有年饼。年饼的种类繁多，例如蛋卷，黄梨饼，杏仁饼，花生饼，海苔饼，奶油饼，巧克力饼等等。

Usually we gain weight after Chinese New Year celebration as enjoying eating the cookies and delicious reunion dinner and Chinese New Year dishes during family gathering.

通常我们在春节庆祝后体重会增加。因为有很多家庭聚餐，享用丰富的团圆饭，年菜和年饼。

We took a break during shopping in Chinese New Year temporary market. I and my husband took our dinner in a vegetarian restaurant. I ordered stirred fried thin flat vege noodles, and my husband ordered KL Fried Noodles.

我们才逛年货市场时休息了一下。到一家素食餐厅用餐。我点了河粉，他点了吉隆坡面。

My fried thin flat noodles was tasty with fresh Choy sum and mushroom. I think I will come back again for second round order.

我的河粉炒得很不错，蔬菜新鲜好吃。我想下回再回来享用。

After dinner, we continued shopping around in the market. We found another stalls selling red lanterns and red stickers in attractive design.

吃过晚饭后，继续往年货市场。有发现另一边有更精美的红灯笼和红贴纸。
