The Irreplaceable Telenovela Soundtrack Starring Thalia

Hello, dear Hivers and all music lovers! Hopefully you are all doing great today. Lately I've seen several posts on my social media about telenovela films from when I was little. I remember that I used to really like a lot of telenovela films, and when we talk about telenovelas we can't forget the beautiful and multi-talented female artist and singer Thalia. Who doesn't know Thalia? She even considered the queen of telenovelas here, because many of her films are great and successful both in her own country, Mexico and in other countries in Asia, including Indonesia.

I remember when I was little I really admired Thalia because she was very beautiful with long beautiful hair, and she always played the main role. In fact, I used to grow my hair long because I wanted to look like Thalia. I even used to dye my hair brown so it could be the same as Thalia's hair. Hahaha. She is almost perfect, she has pretty face, beautiful voice, her body is so ideal, good at playing roles, and she is good at dancing. I always follow all her films from start to finish and the songs are also good.

I also like music from Latin America such as Mexico, especially from film soundtracks. Not only telenovela films starring Thalia, I also like Belinda who stars in the telenovela series Amigos x Siempre. Wow, I really like her, films and the songs. I've heard the song so many times that I've memorized the lyrics even though they're in Latin/Spanish. Music is universal, right? So, every language as long as it is music, I am in.

Maria Mercedes (1992)

Maria Mercedes is also one of the most popular telenovelas of her time. Thalia plays a poor girl who marries a rich, sickly old man.
After the man died, Thalia became a rich woman who then fell in love with Jorge Luis, the old man's son. I still remember the songs on the soundtrack of this film, you know! even though this film was a long time ago.

Marimar (1994)

Marimar tells the story about a poor girl who lives with her grandparents on the beach. She falls in love with Sergio, a rich young man who lives not far from her house. Unfortunately, their love story is hindered by an evil stepmother named Angelica. There is something cute that I remember from the Marimar film, namely Marimar's dog, Pulgoso, an adorable little dog. Do you guys remember that?

María la del Barrio (1995)

In this telenovela, Thalia plays as Maria, an orphan girl who works as a scavenger. In fact, Thalia's appearance is very iconic because she always wears a black hat which is shaped and this is my most favorite Thalia’s role besides Rosalinda. She was beautiful. Then Maria worked as a servant in the house of a rich man named Fernando de la Vega. They fell in love with each other even though their path to being together did not go smoothly.

Rosalinda (1999)

Maybe this telenovela is the most popular of the many telenovelas starring Thalia. She plays as Rosalinda who works as a flower seller. Her appearance cannot be separated from the rose that is always tucked into her ear, this is so iconic. Rosalinda's love story with Fernando Jose is also quite interesting. The audience's emotions are stirred by the many conflicts, most of which are caused by the antagonists, Fernando Jose's mother and Rosalinda's cousin, named Fedra. However, Fedra is beautiful though. Rosalinda's song was also very popular at that time, in fact even now many people in Indonesia still like and remember it and will sing along when they hear the soundtrack song from the film Rosalinda, including me.
