Combining Rewards Cards And Renting Them Out

The rental market has definitely been a highlight of the Splinterlands economy for the past year or so. With the new changes to the rewards, I think it is going to be more important with players needing to rent better cards and not just level 1 ones.

Gargoya Lion

First, combined 100 cards to get a level 6 Gargoya Lion. I can't use it for myself and I have a gold foil one. I put it out for rent at 2.5 DEC per day. .I think there will be takers given that it adds a decent amount of collection power.

Exploding Rats

Next, I combined 14 Exploding Rats into a level 3 card. This makes it really fast and gives 3 damage without any summoner boost. Will be deadly in equalizer battles. Put it out for 1.5 DEC per day.

Nightmare

The last card I combined was the nightmare. 30 of them into a level 4 card. Very fast and explosive damage. Put this one out for 1.65 DEC per day.

While the total amount of DEC earned is a lot, the ability to unlock assets that were previously just sitting in the collection is lovely. A useful feature to have would be to filter rental prices for the individual card by levels. Right now you have to scroll down the list.
