Curious surprises ending the holiday season ES/EN

En estos tiempos en verdad los días estuvieron pasando muy rápido, parte de mi desconcierto en lo relativo al tiempo se debe a que estuve bastante entretenido practicando un poco más de pixel art, probando programas y entre medio de eso, realizando misiones de Rising Star, que eso nunca falla.
Sinceramente deseo tuvieran un inicio de año con más alegrías que tristezas, junto a seres queridos y con muy buena vibra.

Elfos everywhere!

El evento especial de navidad trajo consigo una carta de elfo y sus respectivos instrumentos de temporada, lo cierto es que al comprar packs la carta de personaje (el elfo) necesaria para realizar la misión no estaba saliendo en mi cuenta, si mal no recuerdo fué a la segunda semana que recién pude obtener la carta del elfo y realizar la misión. Usualmente la suerte no me acompaña en las misiones de temporada, por lo que al momento solo puedo reportar un instrumento de temporada obtenido con las misiones.
Si estuvieron atentos a los anuncios, recordarán que las cartas nuevas tendrían salida el día 3 y no el primero de mes como se acostumbra, se entiende que por las fiestas de fin de año algo así podía ocurrir.
Como es costumbre ya, muchos jugadores abren grandes cantidades de packs con el fin de obtener el mint 1 de alguna de las nuevas legendarias, traté de resistirme a probar suerte sabiendo que la entrega de las cartas podría retrasarse debido a las entregas pendientes a los otros jugadores, pero aún así hice la compra de 24 packs (si, solo 24 😆), la sorpresa mía es que empecé a ser acosado por el elfo...a partir del tercer pack la aparición de la carta de temporada se hizo continua...con algún pequeño respiro (una carta épica de mic, perfecta para mis lecciones, por ejemplo), el resultado? Tengo por fin un blend de temporada, si! Tengo al elfo dando saltos entre las cartas de mi colección 😆

“Magic dust here please”

En anteriores post (como éste y también éste), estuve mostrando algunas imágenes que realizé usando de referencia algunas cartas de Rising Star y mis inicios con el pixel art. La carta que ahora presento tuvo su reto al realizarla, principalmente porque tiene más aporte mío que referencia a la carta original. Y cuál fue la carta elegida? 😉
Al realizar ésta versión probé muchas cosas, diferentes colores, tamaño del sprite (entiéndase como lienzo donde dibujo), estilos del cabello y algunos detalles en la parte del cuello, curiosamente muy pocas cosas me dejaron contento con las primeras versiones, algo que no ocurría con las cartas anteriormente versionadas por mi. Creo que quizá fuí algo más quisquilloso con ésta imagen porque era un tanto más personal, así que terminé con 2 versiones entre las que aún me debatía de cuál elegir para colocar en el pos (y aún así podría seguir trabajando en detalles a cambiar o reemplazar 😆), espero que @pixiepost vea con buenos ojos esta versión pixel art de su carta.

“La práctica hace al maestro”

Personalmente cada día me impongo algún reto a realizar para ir mejorando en lo que concierne al pixel art, a veces son cosas muy sencillas, otras veces intento cosas que en apariencia son sencillas y al momento de trabajar en su realización resultan complicadas y toca estudiar, es por eso que posiblemente se vaya realizando cambios a las versiones de nuevas cartas, desechando la “plantilla” que tengo para los cuerpos en general, espero los cambios y propuestas que vaya mostrando en posteriores post sean de su agrado.

Pequeño consejo: Si quieres mostrar en tus post alguna de las cartas animadas, entra mediante la computadora, abre la imagen de la carta en una ventana aparte, luego copia el link y pégalo en tu escrito.

The special Christmas event brought with it an elf card and their respective seasonal instruments, the truth is that when buying packs the character card (the elf) necessary to carry out the mission was not appearing in my account, if I remember correctly it was to the second week that I was just able to get the card from the elf and carry out the mission. Luck is usually not on my side on season quests, so at the moment I can only report one seasonal item obtained from missions.
If you were attentive to the announcements, you will remember that the new cards would be released on the 3rd and not on the first of the month as usual, it is understood that something like this could happen due to the end of the year holidays.
As usual, many players open large amounts of packs in order to get mint 1 of some of the new legendaries, I tried to resist trying my luck knowing that the delivery of the cards could be delayed due to pending deliveries to others players, but still I bought 24 packs (yes, only 24 😆), my surprise is that I started to be harassed by the elf... from the third pack the appearance of the season card became continuous. ..with a little breather (an epic mic card, perfect for my lessons, for example), the result? I finally have a seasonal blend, yes! I have the elf jumping between the cards in my collection 😆

In previous posts (like this one and also this one), I was showing some images that I made using some Rising Star cards as a reference and my beginnings with pixel art. The card that I present now had its challenge when it was done, mainly because it has more of my contribution than reference to the original card. And what was the chosen card? 😉
When making this version I tried many things, different colors, size of the sprite (understood as the canvas where I draw), hair styles and some details in the neck part, curiously very few things left me happy with the first versions, something that did not happen with the cards previously versioned by me. I think maybe I was a little pickier with this image because it was a bit more personal, so I ended up with 2 versions between which I was still debating which one to choose to place in the post (and still could continue working on details to change or replace 😆), I hope @pixiepost welcomes this pixel art version of her card.

Personally, every day I set myself a challenge to carry out to improve as far as pixel art is concerned, sometimes they are very simple things, other times I try things that appear to be simple and when working on their realization they are complicated and it is time to study, That is why changes may be made to the versions of new cards, discarding the "template" that I have for the bodies in general, I hope the changes and proposals that I show in subsequent posts are to your liking.

Little tip: If you want to show any of the animated cards in your post, enter through your computer, open the image of the card in a separate window, then copy the link and paste it into your writing.
