Palm tree shadow on a Sunday morning. SMASh Contest 249

Hi Hivers friends, one more day I'm in front of the computer writing my weekly post for the participation in the photo contest organized by @melinda010100 in collaboration with @seckorama from the wonderful #shadowhunters community.
This morning, since it was not raining and the sun was breaking through the clouds, I went for a walk around town. At this time of the year, as the corn harvest has already been done, the fields are sown with grass and allow us to enjoy the green color of the wet grass that pleases the eye.
An additional advantage of going out to weigh in on the partly sunny days of this time of year is that the shadows are usually much longer because the sun does not reach very high in the sky. Thus, when I was in the middle of my run I came across a nice shade from one of my neighbors' palm tree.
The shadow provided by the palm tree was very long and at the same time the trunk of the palm tree had a good width, so I was taking pictures hiding my own shadow with the shadow of the palm tree. Another feature that caught my attention was the non-uniform shape of the top of the palm tree due to the fact that a couple of its leaves were partially broken.
After this small set of photos I continued my walk and continued hunting some additional shadows, but these are reserved for future editions of the contest.

Because I live in a place where palm trees cannot grow I think I am always quite intrigued when I see palm tree Shadows! This it's one is great. Thanks for entering the shadow contest again 🌞
