[Precious metals] [Silver] I bought my first pure silver bar.

Just the title.

Before I show the picture of the sexy beast click here to know how much my love for precious metals is, how it was our money in the past and how it will be treated as money in the future too.

Nothing except for Gold and Silver can be treated as money. Definitely not the worthless piece of paper we call fiat which you cannot hold for even one year before losing a bunch of value of it.

Enough talking. More displaying ;)

Isn't it a beauty ??

There is some happiness in holding physical silver bar which a digital purchase via silver ETF, bonds won't give you.

Honestly, I decided to share my silver holdings when I saw a post from @trumpman which introduced me to the gold and silver community tag when I went through the tags of the post. Grateful for it because without I would've made a post under general tags only. Post link

I do think that silver is really undervalued as compared to gold and when the fiat system collapses (It will sooner rather than later) silver has a potential to outperform even cryptos.

Part of the reason for me to think like that is the Paper to Silver ratio which is currently at 330:1 ..!!! (Click here to verify) Yup that is so outrageous.
It means that for every ounce of physical silver, 330 ounces of digital silver is already trading in the market in the form of ETFs, bonds and mutual funds. This is straight up creating supply out of thin air to suppress its price and that too 329 ounces of supply versus 1. This should be criminalized and banned but our government keeps on encouraging it. Do you know why ? It is because you can get liquid money for those 329 ounces immediately which is essentially free money that one can use for other investments.

What a circus.

Anyways, upvote and comment on this post to support my blog. It means a lot. Any suggestions or tips are welcomed as well.

Take care. Peace out.

The silver bar is nice. I rarely see 50 grams, that's nearly 1.7 oz silver. I didn't know the paper to silver ratio is 330:1. I'm so glad that I seen your posts. It's so interesting !

Yup it is absurd.. It'll be interesting to see what happens when those 329 people want their physical silver back..

The system of enforcing a fractional reserve system of physical silver and gold only lends itself to overt price manipulation. A year's metal production could be conjured up in paper futures bringing in an artificial supply of metals in a day's trading, suppressing prices.

Yes exactly, the people responsible for this should be behind bars just like all thiefs.
