Pepito's first Christmas [ENG/ESP]
Greetings to everyone in the Hive Pets community. Today I'm joining you to share a new pet adventure. This time, I'm bringing you some pictures of my little cat, Pepito, who will be spending his first Christmas with us this year. It's wonderful to see how much Pepito has grown and how he's gone from a timid little kitten to a much bigger and more daring one. So much so that sometimes I'm the one who's scared because he's so mischievous, and sometimes I don't even know how to tell him to stop. What I love most is that everyone at home takes great care of him because he's the youngest, and that's just adorable. I hope Pepito understands that he's loved very much.
Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Hive Pets. El día de hoy me uno por acá para compartir con ustedes una nueva aventura de mascotas. En esta oportunidad les traigo algunas fotografías de mi pequeño gato Pepito, quién este año pasara su primera Navidad junto a nosotros. Es bonito ver cómo Pepito ha crecido tanto y cómo pasó de ser un temeroso gatito bebé, a un gatito más grande y mucho más atrevido. Tanto así que a veces la que tiene miedo soy yo porque es muy ocurrente y a veces no se ni como decirle que pare. Lo que más me gusta es que todos en casa, suelen cuidarlo mucho porque es el más pequeño y eso es algo adorable. Espero que Pepito entienda que lo quieren mucho.
Since Christmas is approaching, I decided to put up the tree this weekend. I was quite sad because my Christmas lights are broken, so I had to decorate the tree using only the ornaments I had on hand. However, I'm happy that the tree still turned out beautifully, and I finished topping it with the Christmas star. That's what I called Pepito, who was in the living room and is forbidden from entering the bedroom because he never stays still. Even less so with the Christmas tree up, since it's a magnet for cats. However, since it was a special occasion, Pepito went in to give the decorations his approval. He was immediately captivated by the Christmas decorations and went after them, biting and pawing at the branches.
Cómo ya se acerca la Navidad, decidí ponerme este fin de semana a armar el arbolito. Me dió mucha tristeza porque mis luces de navidad ya no sirven, así que tuve que armar el árbol solo con las bambalinas que tenía cerca. Sin embargo me alegra que el arbolito quedó de igual forma muy bonito y terminé de coronar junto con la estrella de navidad. Así llamé a Pepito, quién estaba en la sala y tiene prohibido entrar al cuarto porque no se esta quieto. Menos aún, con el arbolito puesto pues eso es un iman para los gatos. Sin embargo cómo es una ocasión especial, Pepito entro a darle el visto bueno a la decoración. De inmediato se vio conmovido por las bambalinas de navidad y fue tras ellas, mordiendo y lanzando sus patas contra las ramas.
Luckily, I have a photographer at home (haha, my partner) who takes care of capturing all these lovely moments. So here's a Christmas collection of Pepito and the Christmas tree. His little face is truly the most adorable thing about it all; I think he's a very photogenic cat because he looks great in every picture. And we'll end on a high note because, after his persistent attempts to destroy the Christmas tree, I brought Pepito downstairs to try and get him to sleep on the bed. Especially in those pants he loves so much. I think it's because they look like his mom's. Now Pepito is fast asleep as I write this. So yes, it's been a great day and a good start to Christmas. Por suerte tengo un fotógrafo en casa (jaja mi pareja) quién se encarga de registrar todos estos lindos momentos. Así que aquí una colección navideña de Pepito y el árbol de navidad. Realmente su carita es lo más adorable de todo, creo que él es un gato muy fotogénico porque en cada imagen queda realmente bien. Y cerramos con broche de oro porque luego de insistir con acabar con el arbolito de navidad, baje a Pepito para intentarlo hacer dormir en la cama. Sobre todo, en ese pantalón que tanto le gusta. Creo que porque se parece a su mamá. Ahora Pepito duerme profundo mientras escribo esto. Así que sí, ha sido un gran día y un buen comienzo de navidad.
