Jueves de TBT: La despedida de mi estudiante [ENG/ESP]

Greetings to everyone in the Top Family community. Today I'm joining you all for Throwback Thursday. I'll leave the link at the end of this post so you can participate. With that said, let's get started.

This time I'm sharing a photo of my student group. It wasn't really that long ago, so it's one of the more recent Throwback Thursday posts I have. This photo captures one of them saying goodbye to our study group because he was changing classes. It was a surprise, but at the same time, I understand that these kinds of things happen all the time: kids move, parents change their minds, or children decide to try new things. It's important to support them in whatever they want. So, all his classmates and I made sure to give him a nice send-off (we did a project about it in class) and end with a photo to remember his time in the classroom.

Saying goodbye to a student is never easy, but as I said, the important thing is that they can choose and have that opportunity to experience. He's a good artist and also someone with a lot of confidence; he was the kind of person who dedicates himself to a task, concentrates, and gives it his all. I know he's doing quite well now, so I'm happy for him. On the other hand, I'm thinking that my journey in teaching is just beginning and how many things I'll have to face on this long but beautiful path. For me, all my students will always be as I see them today, and time doesn't stop, so it's best not to get impatient and let it unfold naturally and enjoy it all. Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Top Family. El día de hoy me uno por aquí para compartir con ustedes en este Jueves de TBT. Estaré dejando el enlace al final de la publicación para que puedan participar. Dicho esto, comencemos con ello.

En esta oportunidad traigo una fotografía de mi grupo de estudiantes. No fue realmente hace mucho así que que es uno de los TBT más nuevos que tengo. Este momento que registre es de cuando uno de ellos se despedía de nuestro grupo de estudios porque se iba a cambiar de curso. La verdad es que fue una sorpresa, pero al mismo tiempo entiendo que este tipo de cosas pasan constantemente pues los chicos se mudan, los papás cambian de opinión o lo niños deciden probar nuevas áreas. Y es importante en todo caso apoyarlos en lo que ellos quieren. Así que todos sus compañeros y yo, nos encargamos de darle una grata despedida (hicimos un trabajo en clase al respecto) y cerrar con una fotografía de recuerdo para que él se lleve consigo y pueda ver su paso por el salón.

Despedirse de un estudiante nunca es fácil, pero cómo dije, lo importante es que ellos puedan elegir y tener esa oportunidad de experimentar. Es un buen dibujante y también alguien con mucha confianza pues era de quienes se entregan a una tarea, se concentran y entregan todo de si en ello. Sé que él actualmente está bastante bien, así que me alegra. Por otro lado, me pongo a pensar en que mi camino apenas comienza en la docencia y cuántas cosas me tocaran enfrentar en este largo pero bello camino. Para mí, todos mis estudiantes siempre serán cómo los veo hoy en día y el tiempo no se detiene, así que mejor no comer ansias y dejar que avance con naturalidad y disfrutar de todo ello.
