Aniversario #9 con mi Payo ❤️💐🌟 [ENG/ESP]
Hello, everyone. I’m joining the Lifestyle community today to share with you a new chapter in my life. This past July 27 was a special day—my partner and I celebrated our 9th anniversary. So we went out to run some errands and took the opportunity to go for a walk and grab a bite to eat together. Let me tell you a little about it.
It’s been many years since we started dating. So much has happened; we’ve experienced both the good and the bad, and I think we’ve always stayed together because of fundamental values: integrity, principles, and similar morals. I believe that trumps any preference (movie, music, book), physical attraction (whether someone is tall, short, or thin), or ideal you might have for someone, because those things can change—but who you are as an individual, a citizen, and a person should be (at least) somewhat established. Once you reach a certain age, that’s how it should be, and it’s essential when you’re looking for a partner. These are the foundations of everything. They determine how a person approaches life. Although that doesn’t mean you won’t have moments of doubt, weakness, or failure. It’s precisely because you have well-established principles and morals that you’re able to reflect on yourself, correct your course, and do better.

En la comunidad de Lifestyle el día de hoy me uno por acá para compartir con ustedes un nuevo día en mi vida y es que este pasado 27 de Julio, fue un día especial, pues mi pareja y yo cumplimos 9 años de estar juntos. Así que salimos a hacer unas diligencias y aprovechamos el momento para pasear y comer alguna que otra cosa juntos. Les cuento un poco.
Han sido muchos años desde que comenzamos a salir. Han pasado tantas cosas, hemos vivido tanto lo bueno cómo lo malo y creo que siempre nos hemos mantenido unidos por cuestiones que son fundamentales: integridad, principios y moral similar. Yo creo que eso supera cualquier gusto (película, música, libro), atractivo (si es alto, bajito, flaco) o ideal que se pueda tener hacia alguien porque esas cosas pueden variar, pero quién uno es cómo individuo, ciudadano y persona, debe de estar (al menos) un poco establecido. Pasada cierta edad eso debe ser así y es algo primordial cuando uno busca pareja. Son las bases de todo. Determina como una persona actúa frente a la vida. Aunque eso no signifique que uno no tenga momentos en que haya duda, flaquee o falle. Precisamente el hecho que uno tenga sus principios y moral bien establecidos, trae cómo consecuencia que uno sea capaz de volver en si mismo, rectificar y hacerlo mejor.
I think that right now we know each other so well that we can anticipate things and situations—which, well, is what happens when you’ve been together with someone for a long time. I also think we’ve matured as a couple, and there’s a different kind of connection than there was at the beginning. We value different things now and prioritize the well-being of our home over our own interests. There are things that no one will ever be able to take away from us, and that brings me a lot of peace. Maybe we haven’t achieved some of the things we always dreamed of when we started out, but these have been difficult times, and it’s comforting to know that we’ve given it our all. And, well, at the end of the day, we have each other, and that’s truly beautiful and meaningful. Almost a decade together. With nothing more to say, thank you so much for stopping by.
Yo creo que ahora mismo nos conocemos de una forma tal que podemos anticipar cosas y situaciones, que bueno, sucede de convivir por mucho tiempo con alguien. También, ceo que hemos madurado cómo pareja y hay una complicidad diferente a la del inicio. Se valoran cosas diferentes y se busca más el bienestar del hogar que los intereses propios. Hay cosas que nadie será capaz de quitarnos y eso es algo que me trae mucha paz. Quizás no hemos obtenido algunas de las cosas que siempre soñamos cuando empezamos, pero han sido tiempos difíciles y nos reconforta saber que hemos dado todo. Y que bueno, al final del día nos tenemos el uno al otro y eso es muy bello y grande. Casi una década juntos. Sin más que decir muchísimas gracias por pasar por aquí.
