Hello greetings to all my people of Hive today I want to share a little about coexistence in the home.

One of the things that should not be missing in a family is respect and love between siblings, it is important to take into account that our children, when they are in the stage of childhood there are things that they do not know and are not aware of what they do. It is normal that between siblings there are fights or even arguments, but it is not advisable to let them grow up with that pattern, because if it is not corrected in time there will come a time that in order to solve the problems they will choose to use violence and offenses. We have the duty to correct and guide our children.

In my case I try to give my children a good example, since that was what my mother taught me when I was a child, now it is up to me to teach them that there must be respect between siblings, it is not superfluous to guide them, correct them and discipline them in terms of the communication that should exist within a home. It is important that within the family there is unity and support among all, because in that way the little ones of the house will be guided according to the example that we instill in them as parents. There are situations that arise between siblings such as arguments or fights and sometimes it is a little difficult to solve because there is always one stronger than the other, in my case before acting I first hear the version of each one and according to the situation I take action and guide them.

Among the four siblings I have a five year old girl and her brothers are older than her, from time to time they bother her or hit her for anything. She like some girls did nothing but cry and it was always the same, her father one day brought them both together and made a comparison. The first thing he did was to send one of them to get a very big stone, then he told her to step on the stone and throw it on the floor. Once everything was done, he asked him what happened to the stone. He answered: "nothing, it's the same". Now he tells the other brother to get a flower, he went and looked for it. The father says throw the flower on the floor and then step on it very hard, now tell me what happened to the flower. "It is damaged and crushed" - he replies. Look carefully, girls and women are like a flower, very delicate and fragile. If we mistreat them and are not careful, we can hurt them and we don't want to hurt them, right? What we should do is to take care and protect our sister.

They remained analyzing and did not answer any more. The next day, very early in the morning, one of the children took a flower from the neighbor's house and gave it to his sister and told her that he loved her very much. From that moment on, every time they can, they give flowers to their sister and not only to her but also to me and I like that because it is a very nice gesture on their part and it means that the advice we have given them has not been in vain.

Although I am still working on them because from time to time they are embarrassed to give hugs to each other and even say "I love you brother or sister". The first time I was teaching them they were a little embarrassed to do it and it was a little difficult because they thought it was a simple game, when in reality I wanted to teach them the love that should exist between them. However, little by little they have been understanding things more, there is more respect and trust. Now they feel more freedom to express their feelings, at bedtime we all say good night to each other and end with an "I love you". Now they spend their time hugging and playing, although once in a while they fight, like every child, but they have been able to handle it much better than before and after a while they are playing as if nothing had happened.

No mother wishes bad for her child, we just don't know what to do when we find ourselves in an embarrassing situation such as what to do when our children are fighting, arguing or offending each other. The first thing I do is to know the reason why they were arguing or fighting. Second I listen to each one's version and know who is telling you the truth in this case I have to know each one. And finally I advise them and if there were offenses ask for forgiveness.

However, what should not be done in cases like this is to go to the first and not listen to what they want to tell us. Secondly, do not shout or speak to them sharply, nor offend them with obscene words that traumatize anyone. I am sure that if you do each of these steps it will be of good benefit to your children.
