Bienvenidos amigos de Throwback Thursday. Para compartir hoy les traigo una historia de amigos. A lo largo de la vida aparte de nuestra familia, siempre conocemos en varios contextos a muchas personas más, que se convierten en vecinos, amigos, colegas y compañeros. Este TBT me recuerda personas muy auténticas que brevemente estuvieron en nuestras vidas pero que dejaron bellos recuerdos y varias enseñanzas.
Welcome friends of Throwback Thursday. To share today I bring you a story from friends. Throughout life, apart from our family, we always meet many more people in various contexts, who become neighbors, friends, colleagues and companions. This TBT reminds me of very authentic people who were briefly in our lives but who left beautiful memories and several lessons.
Hace algún tiempo por allá en el 2014, mi esposo y yo nos suscribimos a la empresa AMWAY de Venezuela. Una empresa de productos de muy buena calidad, donde aparte de las ventas, puedes obtener ganancias compartiendo el proyecto con otras personas.
Some time ago back in 2014, my husband and I subscribed to the AMWAY company from Venezuela. A company with very good quality products, where apart from sales, you can make profits by sharing the project with other people.
Además de las conferencias, conversatorios e inducciones, llegamos a compartir en varias ocasiones y ésta que les cuento hoy es una de ellas. Fue en una posada del pueblo de Paraguachí, en el municipio Antolín del Campo, en mi isla de Margarita.
In addition to the conferences, conversations and inductions, we got to share on several occasions and this one that I am telling you today is one of them. It was in an inn in the town of Paraguachí, in the Antolín del Campo municipality, on my island of Margarita.
En ese encuentro estuvimos las personas que nos brindaron la oportunidad de registrarnos como empresarios y otras que como nosotros se interesaron. Decidimos alejarnos un rato de ventas y conferencias sólo para hablar de negocios. Esa vez nos dedicamos a hacer que los niños disfrutaran de la piscina y las mascotas del lugar mientras los adultos nos dedicamos a la parrillada, a contar anécdotas y chistes que nada tenían que ver con el trabajo.
At that meeting were the people who gave us the opportunity to register as entrepreneurs and others who, like us, were interested. We decided to get away from sales and conferences for a while just to talk business. That time we dedicated ourselves to making the children enjoy the pool and the local pets while the adults dedicated themselves to the barbecue, telling anecdotes and jokes that had nothing to do with work.
Es estrictamente necesario que creemos momentos de esparcimiento y recreación. Como adultos a veces nos enfocamos en la rutina laboral y posponemos o le restamos importancia a disfrutar con familia y amigos, debemos tratar de incluir tiempo de esparcimiento en nuestra agenda para aportar algo de relajación a nuestra mente y cuerpo.
It is strictly necessary that we create moments of leisure and recreation. As adults, we sometimes focus on the work routine and postpone or downplay the importance of enjoying time with family and friends. We should try to include leisure time in our schedule to provide some relaxation to our mind and body.
Con el pasar del tiempo y por varias circunstancias dejamos de socializar con estos amigos, de algunos perdimos los contactos, dejamos de frecuentarnos y otros por varias circunstancias tuvieron que poner distancia. De algo estoy segura y es que si nos volvemos a encontrar, el cariño será el mismo.
As time went by and due to various circumstances we stopped socializing with these friends, some of us lost contact, we stopped seeing each other and others, due to various circumstances, had to distance themselves. I'm sure of one thing and that is that if we meet again, the love will be the same.
