Bachelets vorsichtige Bilanz

"Ihre Kritik an China formulierte Bachelet entsprechend vorsichtig. Sie habe ihre Besorgnis über die Lage in der Uiguren-Region Xinjiang zum Ausdruck gebracht, sagte sie. Sie habe Peking aufgefordert, Willkür zu vermeiden und internationale Menschenrechtsstandards einzuhalten. Sie habe insbesondere die Maßnahmen der chinesischen Führung zur Terror-Bekämpfung und De-Radikalisierung in Xinjiang angesprochen und die Regierung aufgefordert, ihr Vorgehen zu überprüfen."

--- Ob ein Rücktritt helfen würde, ist aber dann auch wieder so eine Frage. China hat in den letzten Jahren diverse UN-Organisationen erfolgreich unterwandert.
