The Heart of the Bridge Keeper.

Today, I'm going to show some special moments from my God of War play in this post where I'll talk about my journey to the Helheim to acquire the heart of the Bridge Keeper to save Atreus.

After getting his hands on the Blades of Chaos, Kratos came outside and found these frosty monsters waiting for him whom I couldn't take with the Leviathan Axe and believe me, I gave them hell using the Blades of Chaos. And I believe they'd wish that they didn't witness my wrath having the Blades of Chaos.

I had to return to realm travel room and returning there on foot would be a lot difficult and fortunately, I found a Mystique Gate right beside my home although I don't remember noticing it before at the beginning of the game when we were here.

Using the Mystique Gate, I returned to the Realm Travel Room and found Brok there. Brok was surprised seeing the Blades of Chaos as he never saw such things in his life and he was thinkin they must be a family heirloom.

After knowing about Atreus being ill, Brok offered his help and asked if he should tag along but Kratos said his work in the shop is enough and then I upgraded some of my gadgets from him.

Getting to the Realm Travel Room, Kratos used the rune that Freya gave him to get into Helheim and I noticed there was Asgard among all other unavailable realms and I wish I could visit Asgard though this game and meet Thor there.

When we were traveling to Helheim, the leaves of the Realm Travel Room's tree started falling down and let me know how cursed this realm was and this realm was really different and special than what I witnessed till now.

I found different kinds of monsters there and they looked like ghosts or maybe spirits and they behaved like crazy zombies but they were nothing against the Blades of Chaos.

And I witnessed these spirits who looks like sinner spirits going towards hell and Mimir was saying that only the newly dead should be here and there's too many. Mimir added that the gate must be closed and if the gate is closed then its true, hel's full up.

And I found the gate closed.

Now I started looking for alternative ways to get to the other side of the door and found some tough monsters on my way forward.

And at last I reached the Bridge of the Damned and found the keeper who was making sure that the dead are really dead according to what Mimir was saying.

Here is the Bridge Keeper holding a totem contains a powerful source of magical energy, the very power of Helheim itself and I had to kill this giant, can you believe it?

I started fighting him as I had to defeat him which can't be changed otherwise I'd just ignore him there, lol. By the way, the name of this Bridge Keeper is Mattugr Helson. He had the ability to be invisible and teleport which was the hardest part to get him but he had an attack pattern that I learned fast which made my job easier to defeat him.

After continuously fighting him for around 20 minutes, I defeated him although I didn't have to waste all this time if I noticed it that I was fighting him using the Leviathan Axe which was draining a small amount of his health with each attack when I had to use the Blades of Chaos.

I didn't understand what that creature was doing there when I was killing its fighter.

Kratos walked on top of the keeper and I had to do an open heart surgery, I man I had to take out its heart and this scene was all bloody.

Kratos suddenly saw the face of Zeus in the clouds who is his father who just said the name of Kratos and banished in thin air. Kratos asked Mimir about the place where Zeus was but Mimir forbade him to go there and it looks like Kratos accepted silently.

When I was heading towards the big door, Kratos was asking Mimir about how Zeus got here as its impossible and Mimir replied that its just an illusion and added that Hel's known for torturing its inhabitants with their own past.

Brok came there to help Kratos and took his Blades of Chaos to his workshop and made them ready for the winds of hel which gave me ability interact on those switches that opens up the locked gates.

Now I just had to return to the Realm Travel Room and with its help, to Freya and Atreus but there were a lot of obstacles on my way towards the Realm Travel Room that I had to clear myself.

We'll check what happens next in another post.

I'll try to talk about more special moments soon from my play in God of War or maybe from other games.

I didn't think it'd be this easy to kill this badass Bridge Keeper. I'd not be surprised if he'd kill me a hundred times in this game.

Blades of Chaos definitely has its charm. Defeating that giant and battling him for 20 minutes must've been excited like @menzo mentioned.

The concept of Helheim sounds cool. Great takes. @sagarkothari88 vote

You're not wrong, it definitely has its charm. It was exciting for sure but when I realized I was using the wrong weapon, I felt like a fool.

The way you narrate your adventures in God of War really transports the reader to the world of the game. I love how you describe every detail of your encounter with the monsters and the showdown with the Bridge Keeper. The heart surgery scene is intense, and the moment when Kratos sees the illusion of Zeus adds an additional layer of mystery.

Me encanta cómo describes cada detalle de tu encuentro con los monstruos y el enfrentamiento con el Bridge Keeper.
