Area Discovered: Heart of the Mountain.

I'm going to show some special moments from my God of War play in this post where I'll show and talk about my discovered area which is Heart of the Mountain.

God of War ²⁰¹⁸ was developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment and released worldwide for windows at January 14 2022. It's an action-adventure video game.

This here was my first moment entering the heart of the mountain which kind of shows a good view of the focused points of the inside of the mountain.

This is the moment when I was trying to interact with the chain and Atreus tried to help me and the boy was about to get sucked with the witch there and everything went sideways.

The big tool which was there on the ground went upwards and the rope which will make it come down stuck under the big rock forward which you can see in the above screenshot.

I was trying to free the chain using the switch there but it was stuck and there came some monsters that can throw fire ball and Kratos was looking at them.

I went to fight the monsters and look what they did to Kratos. They kind of threw the lava out of them which landed on Kratos's body.

Inside the mountain, I've found the store of Brok and I was really surprised seeing him in there. I talked with the dwarf mechanic and I even tried to upgrade my axe and armors.

This part reminded me of Prince of Persia cause other than this game, I saw such obstacles in Prince of Persia only. This path was totally blocked by these spears and there were bloodstains on the spears with dead bodies of peoples under them which tells me they were being triggered by other peoples who tried to walked on that pat.

Look, there's a giant monster which seemed dead to me (we never know when a dead thing come alive in this game) and it looked like a worker giant.

Now that's a bridge divided in both ways and there were ways to fix them. Can you see the round things on the rope above the bridge? If I throw my axe on them, the bridge will be fixed.

I was pushing this huge chambers to outside so I can use it later to carry us upwards after I free the chain.

Do you remember me saying the rope was stuck under a big roc? Yeah, it was that moment when I was lifting the huge rock so the rope gets unstuck and we can free the chain.

After freeing the rope and the chain, I was finding a way to ascend and there came this giant monster how is called Járn Fótr who is a troll and a boss in God of War.

Using the axe on this troll was of no use cause he had ice power so I had to and started fighting it bare handed and I kept escaping his attacks so he doesn't kill me.

This was the moment I was ending Járn Fótr and it was more like a cinematic moment where Kratos used his axe to stab on the head and then he used the big weapon of the troll to smash him down.

After freeing the chain, we got this tool back and then I had to push that big chamber under that tool so it can carry the whole chamber including us to upwards.

Now it was the moment when I just had to use my axe to release the tool that carries us all the way up.

The moment when we were succeed in releasing the tool and we were going up staying on the chamber. Who knows what was waiting for us up ahead? We'll check that in another post.
