Nakkastepe National Garden / Nakkaştepe Millet Bahçesi 🏡

Hello everyone, Today I will take you on a journey to Nakkaştepe nation garden, one of the wonderful places in Istanbul. Let's start if you are ready.
I started preparing the Sultanahmet mosque post during the journey (on the subway). I started writing this post on the subway in the same way. Gotta make use of free time. 😅

Herkese selam, Bugün sizleri İstanbul'un harika yerlerinden biri olan Nakkaştepe millet bahçesine yolculuğa çıkaracağım. Hazırsanız başlayalım..
Sultanahmet camisi postunu yolculuk esnasında (metroda) hazırlamaya başlamıştım. Bu postu da aynı şekilde metroda yazmaya başladım. Boş zamanları değerlendirmek lazım. 😅

Although I pass by Nakkaştepe frequently, I never had the chance to visit it. I finally had the chance to see this place. The park is spread over a very large area. The garden has two different entrances. You can also enter by private car. There are parking areas. I didn't have a car so I went on foot. It is a bit troublesome to go up the hill. The slope is a bit too much. But there is nothing to worry about. During the walk, the trees along the road, the greenery and the view provide psychologically positive energy.

Nakkaştepe'den sık sık geçmeme rağmen bir türlü gezme fırsatım olmamıştı. Nihayet burayı da görme şansım oldu. Park çok geniş bir alana yayılmış durumda. Bahçenin iki farklı girişi var. Özel araçla da giriş yapabiliyorsunuz. Park alanları mevcut. Aracım olmadığı için yürüyerek gittim. Tepenin olduğu kısma çıkmak biraz zahmetli. Yokuş biraz fazla. Ancak endişelenecek bir durum yok. Yürüyüş esnasında yol boyundaki ağaçlar, yeşillik ve manzara psikolojik olarak olumlu yönde enerji sağlıyor.

When I went there was not a big crowd. First I went to the walking area on the eastern side of the park. There was no one else there, probably because it was cold. There were camellias built at different points. There was even a small cafe but it was closed. After a short walk, I sat in one of the camellias.

Ben gittiğimde aşırı bir kalabalık yoktu. Bu yüzden rahat rahat takıldım. İlk olarak parkın doğu tarafındaki yürüyüş alanına gittim. Muhtemelen hava soğuk olduğu için benden başka hiç kimse yoktu. Farklı noktalara kamelyalar yapılmış. Hatta küçük bir kafesi de vardı ama kapalıydı. Kısa bir yürüşün ardından kamelyanın birine oturdum.

After leaving the walking path, I moved to the most beautiful part of the garden. During the walk, I saw an authentic fountain and immediately changed my path. It was a fountain worthy of the atmosphere of the garden. Of course I didn't forget to take a picture. 🙂
And finally I reached the place with a wonderful view.

Yürüyüş yolundan ayrıldıktan sonra bahçenin en güzel yerine hareket ettim. Yürüyüş esnasında otantik bir çeşme gördüm ve hemen yolumu değiştirdim. Bahçenin atmosferine yakışır bir çeşme olmuş. Tabiki resim çekmeyi de ihmal etmedim. 🙂
Ve nihayet harika manzaranın olduğu yere ulaştım.

They created small waterfalls by spreading the water from a single source in different areas. The water flowing from a single source gathers again below and forms a small pool. Again, a wooden bridge was built over the part where the water flows. When all these and the greenery come together, you get a fascinating view. The first bridge (Martyrs' Bridge) is also included in the view.

Tek bir kaynaktan gelen suyu farklı alanlara yayarak küçük çaplı şelaleler oluşturmuşlar. Tek kaynaktan akan su tekrar aşağıda toplanıp küçük bir havuz oluşturuyor. Yine suyun aktığı kısmın üzerine ahşaptan köprü yapılmış. Bütün bunlarla birlikte yeşillik bir araya gelince büyüleyici bir manzarayla karşılaşıyorsunuz. Ayrıca birinci köprü (şehitler köprüsü) manzaraya dahil oluyor.

There is a place belonging to the municipality just opposite the place where the lake accumulates. There are many kinds of food and drinks and the prices are very reasonable. I ordered mixed toast and mixed juice, but I didn't like the taste. If I go again, I think I'll have pancakes. After leaving the place, I went up to the place with the best view of the bridge, the top.

Gölün biriktiği yerin hemen karşısında belediyeye ait bir mekan bulunuyor. Yiyecek- içecek bir çok çeşit bulunuyor ayrıca fiyatlarda çok uygun. Ben karışık tost ve karışık meyve suyu siparişi verdim. Ancak tadını beğenmedim. Tekrar gidersem gözleme yemeyi düşünüyorum. Mekanın olduğu yerden çıktıktan sonra köprüyü en iyi açıdan gören yere çıktım. Yani en tepeye.

Although it was winter, the garden had a very impressive view. I want to see this place in the summer, so I think I will visit again in July, August. Kış ayı olmasına rağmen bahçenin çok etkileyici bir manzarası vardı. Burayı birde yazın görmek istiyorum bu yüzden temmuz, ağustos gibi tekrar uğramayı düşünüyorum.
