Hello everyone,
Have you ever walked through colorful streets before? In this post I will try to talk about Kuzguncuk houses.
A few days ago, my friend and I got in touch to hang out. As I was on my way to the location, I came across buildings with different colors. Actually, these places are very famous but I didn't know about them because I was unfamiliar with the city. Therefore, I came across this view by chance.

Daha önce hiç renkli sokaklardan geçtiniz mi? Bu postta Kuzguncuk evlerinden bahsetmeye çalışacağım.
Birkaç gün önce arkadaşımla takılmak için haberleşmiştik. Attığı konuma doğru yol alırken her biri farklı renklerde olan binalarla karşılaştım. Aslında buralar çok meşhurmuş ancak ben şehre yabancı olduğum için bilmiyordum. Dolayısıyla bu manzarayla tesadüfen karşılaştım.

The location was a bit far for walking, but I wanted to go on foot. Using public transportation all the time makes you lazy. Also, sometimes we can miss beautiful details. I was a bit tired but I had the opportunity to see the wonderful houses of Kuzguncuk. I don't regret it at all.

Arkadaşın attığı konum yürüme mesafesi olarak biraz uzaktı ama ben yürüyerek gitmek istedim. Sürekli toplu taşıma araçlarını kullanmak insanı tembelliğe itiyor. Ayrıca bazen güzel detayları da kaçırabiliyoruz. Biraz yorulmuş oldum ancak Kuzguncuk'un harika evlerini görme fırsatım oldu. Bu yüzden hiç pişman değilim.

When I saw the houses, I stopped using the navigation and entered the side streets. In every street I entered, I encountered different beautiful buildings. Of course, in the meantime, I called my friend and told him that I would be a little late. I didn't want to miss the opportunity while it was at my feet. I didn't spare much time so as not to keep my friend waiting too long. I took pictures of the houses and streets that caught my attention.

Evleri görünce navigasyonu kullanmayı bırakıp ara sokaklara girdim. Her girdiğim sokakta farklı güzellikte binalarla karşılaştım. Tabi bu sırada arkadaşı arayıp biraz gecikeceğimide söyledim. Hazır fırsat ayağıma gelmişken kaçırmak istemedim. Arkadaşı çok bekletmemek için çok bir zamanda ayırmadım. Dikkatimi çeken evleri, sokakları dolanarak resimler çektim.

Cities are becoming more and more concretized day by day. I think there are as many disadvantages as there are advantages. Human beings are in need of nature and soil by nature. Therefore, the closer we are to the land and nature, the better. Kuzguncuk is one of the rare neighborhoods of Istanbul in this sense. Every step relaxes you psychologically.

Günler geçtikçe şehirler çok daha fazla betonlaşmaya devam ediyor. Avantajlı yanlarının olduğu kadar dezavantajlarının daha çok olduğunu düşünüyorum. İnsan yapısı gereği doğaya, toprağa muhtaç. Dolayısıyla toprağa, doğaya ne kadar yakın olursak o kadar iyi. Kuzguncuk, bu anlamıyla İstanbul'un nadide semtlerinden birisi. Her adımda insan psikolojik olarak rahatlıyor.

I don't know how it was in previous years, but there were businesses under almost every building. I didn't have much time so I couldn't sit and drink tea. Especially the chocolatier under one of the buildings caught my attention. I also got the location of this place. I'll taste the flavor 🙂

Önceki yıllarda durum nasıldı bilmiyorum ama neredeyse her binanın altında işletmeler mevcuttu. Zamanım çok fazla olmadığı için oturup çay içemedim. Özellikle binanın birinin altındaki çikolatacı çok dikkatimi çekti. Buranın ayrıca konumunu aldım. Lezzeti tadacağım.🙂

It is a perfect place for those who like to take photos. Every street has a different detail. When you step here, I am sure you will lose track of time. While I was looking here and there, an hour passed quickly. I had to leave to avoid getting scolded by my friend 😄

Fotoğraf çekmeyi sevenler için mükemmel bir yer. Her sokakta ayrı bir detay var. Buraya adım attığınızda eminim zamanın nasıl geçtiğini anlamayacaksınız. Ben şuraya da bakayım burayı da gezeyim derken bir saat hemen geçmiş. Arkadaştan azar işitmemek için ayrılmak zorunda kaldım.😄

It is also a very ideal place for wedding photos. Couples should definitely check this place out. There wasn't a huge crowd but I can't imagine these streets in summer 🙂
According to the information I got later, there are synagogues, mosques and churches around here, but I didn't see any. This means that I will visit Kuzguncu again. Maybe I will share another post.

Ayrıca düğün fotoğrafı içinde çok ideal bir yer. Çiftler burayı muhakkak gözden geçirmeli. Çok aşırı bir kalabalık yoktu ama yazın bu sokakları düşünemiyorum. 🙂
Sonradan edindiğim bilgiye göre buralarda sinagog, cami ve kilise bulunuyormuş ancak ben göremedim. Bu demek oluyor ki Kuzguncu'ğa tekrar uğrayacağım. Belki farklı bir post daha paylaşırım.
