How are you? I hope everything is fine. Last week we had a different event led by @princeofbeyhive. I would like to thank her. We will write on a different theme every week. In order to contribute, I also suggested a theme. This week we will focus on colors or technology. Therefore, I will focus on these themes in this post.
When you say technology, many things come to mind. The concept of technology can mean different things to different people. For example, if you ask an 80-year-old what is technology, the answers he gives will be ordinary things to us. In their childhood, there was no electricity, smartphones or even normal phones, but these concepts are ordinary things for us. My grandfather used to tell his memories from time to time and I loved to listen to them. He used to say that when there was no electricity in the past, they used to light the lamps at night, and when they went out to the highlands to graze their animals in the summer, they used the light of the stove at night. He even said that they cooked their meals on these stoves.

Nasılsınız? umarım her şey yolundadır. Geçen hafta @princeofbeyhive öncülüğünde farklı bir etkinliğe imza attık. Kendisine teşekkür ederim. Her hafta farklı bir tema üzerinde yazacağız. Katkı olmak açısından ben de bir tema önerdim. Bu hafta renkler veya teknoloji üzerinde duracağız. Dolayısıyla bu postta bu temalar üzerinde duracağım.
Teknoloji deyince insanın aklına birçok şey geliyor. Bide teknoloji kavramı her insan için farklı bir anlam ifade edebilir. Örneğin 80 yaşındaki birine teknoloji nedir? diye sorsanız verdiği cevaplar bizlere sıradan şeyler gelecektir. Onların küçüklüğünde elektrik, akıllı telefon hatta normal telefon bile yoktu ama bu kavramlar bizim için sıradan şeyler. Dedem ara ara anılarını anlatır ben de dinlemeyi çok severdim. Eskiden elektrik yokken geceleri löküs lambaları yaktıklarını, yazın hayvanlarını otlatmak için yaylalara çıktıklarında obalarda geceleri ocağın ışığından faydalandıklarını söylerdi. Hatta yemeklerini bu ocaklarda yaptıklarını söylerdi.

In 2006-2007, I stayed in these obas for a few weeks. When it started to get dark in the evening, after putting the cows and goats in the stables, we would go to the oba. My parents would light the stove inside the oba. We would have our meals and tea in the stove, and the fire would illuminate the inside of the oba. After eating, we would drink tea and chat. We would go to sleep very early as there was no television etc. I can say that we experienced the difficulties that the elderly experienced in the past, even if to a lesser extent. From this point of view, people over a certain age value the simple things offered by technology much more.

2006-2007 yıllarında bahsettiğim bu obalarda bende birkaç hafta kaldım. Akşam hava kararmaya başladığında inekleri, keçileri ahırlara koyduktan sonra obaya geçerdik. Annemler obanın içindeki ocağı yakardı. Ocağın içinde yemek, çay gibi ihtiyaçlarımızı giderirdik. Ayrıca ateşin etkisiyle obanın içerisi aydınlanırdı. Yemeği yedikten sonra çayımızı içer sohbet ederdik. Televizyon vs olmayınca çok erken saatlerde uyurduk. Az da olsa yaşlıların geçmişte yaşadıkları zorlukları yaşadık diyebilirim. Buradan hareketle belli bir yaşın üzerindeki insanlar teknolojinin sunduğu basit şeylere çok daha fazla kıymet veriyor.

I bought my first smartphone in 2013, if I remember correctly. I remember very well that I had very strange feelings when I started to tinker with the phone. Even for the slightest thing related to the internet, we were going to the internet cafe. Of course, this was inconvenient. The smartphone offered me direct fast internet access. I was very happy when I got my first smartphone. Today, smartphones have started to develop more. In addition to their convenience, their disadvantages are also undeniable. For example, we are too lazy to cook and sometimes we order online from different companies, so this makes us lazy.

Ben ilk akıllı telefonumu yanlış hatırlamıyorsam 2013 yılında aldım. Telefonu kurcalamaya başladığımda çok garip duygular yaşadığımı çok iyi hatırlıyorum. İnternet ile alakalı en ufak bir şeyde bile internet cafeye gidiyorduk. Tabi bu durum zahmetli geliyordu. Akıllı telefon bana direk hızlı internet erişimini sundu. İlk akıllı telefonu aldığımda çok mutlu olmuştum. Günümüzde ise akıllı telefonlar daha çok gelişmeye başladı. Kolaylıklarının yanında dezavantajları da yadsınamayacak seviyede. Örneğin yemek yapmaya üşenip bazı zamanlarda farklı şirketlerden internet üzerinden sipariş veriyoruz dolayısıyla bu bizi tembelliğe sürüklüyor.

With the development of phones, social media has also evolved. This situation has both positive and negative aspects. For example, we can follow the agenda very easily and instantly. However, in some cases, we can get wrong information due to information pollution.
Sometimes I can't help thinking about the following question: With technology so advanced today, I wonder what changes and developments may take place in the coming years. Sometimes I hear such things that seem very utopian to me. Maybe what seems utopian to me will be seen as a very ordinary situation in 30 years...

Telefonların gelişmesiyle birlikte sosyal medyalar da gelişme katetti. Bu durumun da olumlu yanlarının yanında olumsuz yanları da var. Örneğin gündemi çok rahat, anlık takip edebiliyoruz. Ancak bazı durumlarda ise bilgi kirliliğinden dolayı yanlış bilgiler edinebiliyoruz.
Bazen şu soruyu düşünmeden edemiyorum. Günümüzde teknoloji bu kadar ilerlemişken önümüzdeki yıllarda acaba ne gibi değişimler, gelişimler olabilir. Bazen öyle şeyler duyuyorum ki bana çok ütopik geliyor. Belki de bana ütopik gelen şeyler 30 yıl sonra çok sıradan bir durum olarak görülecek...
