Having breakfast with some baby goats.

This cheeky little goat that joined us for breakfast the other morning is named Gigi.
Gigi is still a baby and along with her 2 brothers Binky and Big Stu, she is one of the new additions to my mums place.

Being young they are still very playful and inquisitive, they tend to follow you around if you walk around the property. Because they were already 4 weeks old when they came they are not huge fans of dogs so my mum keeps her larger dog away from them. Our small dog Sassy found out that while they don't like dogs they aren't scared of her and she copped a good headbutt at one point.

Goats are one of my favourite animals, they have such personalities and are just funny to watch. They love to climb and in their pen there is a small playground with slide and lots of logs and trees to climb around on. They spend most of their days out of the pen though and roaming around the property with the other barnyard animals.
Sherman the alpaca has quickly accepted them as one of his pack and Patte the goose seems to not care about them one way or the other.

Big Stu is the same age as Gigi and Binky but is a different breed and is much larger. He will probably be a bit of a dick when he gets older but it will be funny (for me).

Big Stew is the white, larger one.

Most days they wander down to the gully and eat the vegetation around the stream, if there are guests at the property they will get onto their accommodation decking and hang out with them, just like Gigi is in the first picture on the table.

I am keen to hang out with them more now we're back and see what sort of nonsense they get up to and snap some good pics. They grow up too fast though and won't stay babies for long so need to make the most of it. I still like them as adults but they generally calm down a lot and because the ones at mums house are so spoilt they don't do much but laze around in the sun, try and break into the veggie garden and get fat.
