La primera vez que asistí a un concierto fue a ver mi cantante favorito, Franco de Vita, un excelente cantautor venezolano con innumerables éxitos en nuestro país y el mundo. Recuerdo que tenía aproximadamente 17 años y cuando mi cuñado invitó a mi hermana y también me dijo que estaba invitada fue como volar en las nubes, siempre había querido ir a un concierto y que la primera vez fuera al de mi cantante favorito , pues me llenaba de alegría.

Recuerdo que pasé toda la noche coreando sus canciones una detrás de la otra, fue un concierto sin desprecio, una experiencia inolvidable. Pero esta no fue la única vez que tuve la oportunidad de ir a un concierto, después pude ver a Ricardo Arjona en su gira Galería Caribe, también un excelente artista, complaciente en sus conciertos y que montan un espectáculo de escenografía muy original y fantástica.

La tercera vez y en la que pensé cuando vi la fotografía de portada, fue cuando asistí al concierto de Gilberto Santa Rosa y Reinaldo Armas . El primero conocido como El Caballero de la Salsa uno de los mayores exponentes de este género y el segundo es uno de los mejores cantantes de música venezolana, me atrevería a decir que el mejor y el más conocido después de Simón Díaz nuestro Tío Simón.

En esta ocasión todo era una fiesta, recuerdo que Reinaldo Armas estaba por toda Venezuela en la promoción del Cubito de Costilla Criolla Maggi y tenía una canción dedicada a esta marca, y cuando el la cantaba, por toda la plaza de toros repartían el producto, así que llevamos cubitos de costilla criolla para la casa.

En aquella época Venezuela era una parada obligada para muchos cantantes, siempre habían promociones para conciertos de artistas internacionales quienes hacían su gira por el país. Una de las cantantes que siempre estaba haciendo presentaciones era Olga Tañon y a la cual nunca pude asistir, me quedé con las ganas de bailar y corear sus canciones. Después de esos años de abundancia y diversión vino la sequía de espectáculos, pasaron muchos años antes de que pudiera escuchar que un artista nacional o internacional se presentara en Venezuela otra vez, hasta ahora, que al parecer se ha abierto nuevamente la puerta para todos estos eventos. Solo espero volver a vivir la experiencia de estar en el concierto de alguno de mis artistas favoritos próximamente.
