Concurso - Un día de esos jueves de TBT [ESP-ENG]

Me encantan los #TBT, se han convertido en el método que usamos a través de las redes sociales para sentir nostalgia por momentos vivido que nos generaron felicidad y que nunca vamos a olvidar, por esa razón me encantó enterarme de este nuevo concurso de Top Family donde cada jueves será de TBT y en esta mi primera semana participando, me encontré esta fotografía de cuando estaba pequeña y me gustaría contarles esta historia.

Lo primero que deben pensar es que no aparezco en la fotografía, pero si estoy, solo que mi amiga de la infancia me está tapando, es más, siento que me estaba apachurrando contra la pared 🤣. La primera en la columna es mi hermana Berlis y luego está mi amiga Maryurid (es la que me está tapando) a mí solo se me ve parte del hombro y el lazo en la cabeza.

Ahora les voy a contar cuando fue está fotografía. Como pueden ver estamos en una presentación de baile. Resulta que el 13 de septiembre es el cumpleaños de un partido político de mi país, Acción Democrática, y mi papá fue integrante activo de este partido durante muchos años (todavía forma parte del mismo) y participó en cada uno de los eventos para festejar esta celebración anual, nosotras como sus hijas también formamos parte de las coreografías para dar inicio al espectáculo o para recibir a las candidatas al reinado. Es importante señalar que nunca fuimos candidatas a reina del partido en nuestro pueblo 👸.

El año en que se tomó la fotografía tenía aproximadamente 7 años de edad, aquí hicimos el opening del evento con una canción del grupo del momento The New York Band, y la muchacha que estuvo encargada de la coreografía también elaboró el vestuario con papel crepé (Si, aunque no lo crean esa ropa es papel) inspirada es uno de los vestuarios que las cantantes de este grupo usaban en sus presentaciones. Los pompones no se de dónde se inspiró, pero lo importante es que nos veíamos espectacular.

Recordar te llena de emociones, en mi caso ni siquiera se como recuerdo tantos detalles de este día en específico, pero me imagino que cuando una experiencia te impacta y te hace feliz, se queda contigo para toda la vida.

The first thing you must think is that I’m not in the picture, but I am, only that my childhood friend is covering me, what’s more, I feel like she was squeezing me against the wall 🤣. The first one in the column is my sister Berlis and then there is my friend Maryurid (she is the one covering me) you can only see part of my shoulder and the bow on my head.

Now I am going to tell you when this picture was taken. As you can see we are in a dance presentation. It turns out that September 13 is the birthday of a political party in my country, Acción Democrática, and my dad was an active member of this party for many years (he is still part of it) and participated in each of the events to celebrate this annual celebration, we as his daughters were also part of the choreography to start the show or to receive the candidates for the reign. It is important to point out that we were never candidates for queen of the party in our town 👸.

The year the picture was taken I was about 7 years old, here we did the opening of the event with a song of the group of the moment The New York Band, and the girl who was in charge of the choreography also made the costumes with crepe paper (Yes, believe it or not these clothes are paper) inspired by one of the costumes that the singers of this group used in their presentations. I don’t know where she got her inspiration for the pompoms, but the important thing is that we looked spectacular.

Remembering fills you with emotions, in my case I don’t even know how I remember so many details of this specific day, but I imagine that when an experience impacts you and makes you happy, it stays with you for life.
