Streets and courtyards (visual history of 14 photos)

August has passed its midpoint and autumn is inexorably approaching. It's raining today and this also confirms my mood. So I opened last year's archive and started remembering that autumn.

That day we just wandered around the autumn city, the weather was sunny, but there was no special warmth anymore. You can see that people are not dressed for summer.

We walked through the streets of the city and just looked around. And then we decided to look into the city courtyards...

Petersburg has its own specific ones that are difficult to confuse with the courtyards of another city. If, of course, you've seen them and know them.

These are high walls, sometimes deaf, with strict geometry. I can wander there for hours. They are all somewhat similar and all different.

And yet, the spirit of the time lives there ... :)
