My perspective has shifted as a result of my past experiences.

They say that the finest teacher is experience. Experience can be beneficial or harmful, resulting in a positive or negative impact on one's life.

Life is full of unexpected happenings that can touch us, whether we want them or not.
We've all experienced something that has shifted our perspective on life.

Comparing my life today to my life yesterday has made me recognize how my past experiences have shaped who I am today.

The death of a beloved friend was one of the incidents that had a profound impact on my life. This incident shattered me, but it also changed me.

I used to have a close friend with whom I used to spend a lot of time. Our friendship was so strong that we treat each other like brothers and never hold secrets from each other, but the only flaw we have is that we are both procrastinators.

To make a long story short, I received a call from my friend's sister one day, informing me that my friend had passed away. I was heartbroken. It took me months to recover from my best friend's death.

Looking back on the many things we intended to do but were unable to achieve due to procrastination makes me realize that nothing is guaranteed.

I learnt the hard way that procrastination is bad, and since then I have never put off doing anything because tomorrow is never guaranteed.

My first heartbreak was another defining milestone in my life. I waited a very long time before getting involved in any relationship, and when I finally did, it didn’t last long.

The incident had a significant emotional and social impact on me. I had to wait a month to get back on my feet. This experience taught me how to love myself.
Self-love will not make you feel rejected or reliant on others to exist.

So, reflecting back on my past experiences, they have taught me how to love myself and have changed me from being a procrastinator.

Death really is a sad occurrence. "Procrastination is the thief of time." We put off a lot things saying we will do them tomorrow. Tomorrow is never assured.
It's great that these sad events made you change for the better. Thanks for sharing.

Death is one thing that brings a rude awakening to the minds of the living. It reminds us of just how vulnerable we are and how we are to value each moment we have and use it to actually get things done.
Thank you for sharing this with us.
