CrazySexyCool: TLC's Legacy

TLC has changed their music into slower but with more hip-hop and soulful elements for their second album "CrazySexyCool". "Ooooooohhh... On the TLC Tip", their debut might have given them multiplatinum status, but "CrazySexyCool" achieved Diamond.

"CrazySexyCool" was led by "Creep", an R&B song with styles of jazz, funk, and soul, has become a number 1 hit on Billboard Hot 100, whilst reaching number 22 in UK initially. Eventually, it was re-released, and peaked at number 6 in UK Singles Chart.

"Red Light Special" was released as the second single eventually becoming a US hit reaching number 2, while moderately charted at number 18 in the UK.

The moment for better attention came for TLC through their song "Waterfalls", which became one of their most successful and notable songs ever. With its social conscious theme including its music video, it became one of the highly acclaimed song. "Waterfalls" reached the top 10 worldwide including a number 1 peak in Billboard Hot 100, 4 in UK Singles Chart, and 5 in European Hot 100 Singles.

"Diggin' on You" was the fourth and final single from "CrazySexyCool" album. It was a Babyface penned song, and it did well becoming a number 5 hit both in Billboard Hot 100 and Mainstream chart. It was a number 18 hit in UK.

"CrazySexyCool" was indeed a hit both commercially and critically, even earning a number 7 spot on the best diamond selling albums of all time according to Billboard. It was a number 3 album in the US, and eventually gone 12x platinum. It was a platinum album in UK with a number 4 peak.
