NIGHT AT HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN IN THE MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL🎐🏮🎐

Hello everyone in the Pinmapple community. I'm Avon, I'm happy to be back to continue sharing my exciting experiences with everyone. Last night and two of my close friends invited each other to hang out at the Mid-Autumn Festival, we decided to go to Hoi An ancient town to take a walk and enjoy the bustling atmosphere of the festival.

In Vietnam, the Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the big holidays. The festival takes place on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month every year everywhere. The children in the village will gather together and transform into unicorns and elves to go from house to house to perform. This is meant to bring good luck into the house and make bad luck disappear.

We gathered at a friend's house and left at 7 PM, on the way we were cut off due to a lot of people going to the festival but fortunately, it didn't last too long, we booked arrived in the old town at 8 PM.

From the first steps when I set foot in the old town, I felt the bustling atmosphere of the festival. The air is filled with drums and dances, music, people's cheers, and even fire-breathing unicorns.

Hoi An is a famous tourist destination, so many tourists come to visit on days like this. We walked around the old town and saw many interesting sights. I have been to Hoi An before, but this is the first time I come to the old town at night. The streets of the old town appear with colorful lanterns. There are many interesting activities for you to choose from during the full moon festival such as going for a walk to see the dancing lions, going to the decorated places to take pictures, and choosing a cafe to enjoy. The melodious music or sitting on the necklaces watching the moon and releasing lanterns is also great. Hoi An is famous for its old, old houses, it becomes even more prominent in the lanterns and moonlight on the full moon day.

This is a Pagoda Bridge, a place that when visiting Hoi An you can't ignore. It is considered the symbol of Hoi An ancient town.

After walking for a while, our legs started to feel tired so we looked for a cafe to drink water and rest. It's a small cafe with an eye-catching interior, so we decided to give it a try. The shop is called Legend Wall Coffee, after ordering at the counter, we choose a table in front of the shop to talk, watch the moon and listen to melodious music to relax. After sitting and talking for a while, I went around to explore and took some photos of the shop to introduce myself to everyone. Because it is located in the old town area, the decoration style of the restaurant is still classic with the main yellow tone, adding moss trees to increase the inherent antiquity of this place. The small details in the shop that make an impression on me are the ceramic statues, they look very eye-catching and have a soul. In addition, the shop also decorates a few pots of plants hanging on the corners to create a cool, nature-friendly space.

During my walk, I saw a calligrapher. He draws pictures and then writes cursive lines on them, you can ask him to write whatever you want. Amidst the bustling atmosphere, many tourists have stopped here to admire this unique art form.

At 10 PM, we realized it was late, so we decided to leave the old town and end our interesting trip.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post. There will be many more great things that I will share in the future. Stay tuned and wait for interesting posts❤️

i've never been to a mid-autumn festival like this even tho i live right in Chinatown here in my country, there is something so magical to how this festival was held! 😃 the colorful lights reflecting from the water might add to the beautiful night atmosphere, but even the town looks quite lively even at night 😊 thank you for sharing such a wonderful experience!
