RE: It seems I suddenly got old...

Wellllllllll.... I was vegan for 4 years but I'm slowly opening up to the thought of getting more protein in, so I've introduced eggs back in.

The respect towards animals is definitely a big part of it. We have 4 sheep on our property and love them dearly... I've been eating mostly whole foods, and essentially have been eating the exact same thing for breakfast and lunch (no dinner) for the past 2 years... but I also wouldn't say no to something processed once in a while. I want to be healthy but I don't want to obsess about it either. I've been extremely strict with my diet in the past, and it does cause stress to myself and the people around me which I worry undoes some of the good.

Hmm, definitely don't need to add eggs back in for protein. Only yesterday I was seeing extremely ripped, strong, healthy and able photos of Simon Hill and two of his buddies who looked like they'd stepped out of a body building mag on Insta. Simon = vegan for years and teaches about the protein in plant based diets.

Adam, we've been taught so many mis-truths about food. There is plenty of protein available in plants. You don't have to eat eggs (or animals) if you don't want to. You may just need a tad more plant diversity than you're getting, because we're not supposed to eat the same meals again and again and again.

We're not? I thought the body found it easier to process foods it's used to seeing as through most of human history people only had access to a limited variation of food.

Thanks for the tip, I'll look Simon Hill up!
