Sorry to hear that. I have another good friend who had to stay away from his kids and family on Xmas day.

Ahh it was ok. There are people who have had it far worse this year. That is so sad that your friend couldn't be with his family. It's been very tough for some people.
The main winners in our house were the cats, who were puzzled that we had locked up the house and the cat flap, driven off in a packed up car, only to return 4 hours later, laden with ham, sausages, and all kinds of delicious treats! :)
