#Fungi Friday πŸ„ πŸ„ πŸ„ - Skull Kissing a Tree

avatar

After a little rain a couple of days ago, the polyporus on the trees filled with water and now they are noticeable, where I never noticed them before!

So I came across these two specimens in the city center, in a place where I often walk, but did not see anything like this (in fact, this time my wife noticed these mushrooms, not me)))

I can’t say exactly what kind of mushrooms these are, but it seems to me that it is (Fomitiporia robusta).

It's just that I've seen these mushrooms mostly dried up and the pictures on the net are mostly old specimens, so I'm not 100% sure...
Look how juicy it is! My wife slapped it with her palm and water immediately came out where she touched its surface with a ring)

But back to our top mushroom! It looks like a skull! Just a real human skull that either kisses a tree or bites into it)

I am very proud of this find! It will take pride of place in the pearls of my pictures)
I hope you, friends, will also like this mushroom very much and you will appreciate it!)...

Thanks to @ewkaw for #fungifriday event
