Sea Zone Hotel (15pics)

Greeting, friends.
I continue my story about a trip to Dagestan in December last year. Last time I told you about the Naryn-Kala fortress in the city of Derbent and about the Caspian Monster.
In any journey for us, one of the important, and maybe the main factors is the place of residence, overnight accommodation and food. I know that my eldest daughter is currently very demanding about the comfort of hotels. But my sons and younger daughter pay much less attention to comfort in their travels. I know this from joint trips with my children.
This is the Sea Zone hotel, where our friendly company spent one night in Derbent. It seems to me that it was one of the most comfortable hotels in the city. For a room rate of about $50, I found even a bathrobe in the room. I have not seen this in my trips to Rome, Barcelona, and Milan. And in Russia it was the first place with such a set in a hotel room.
By the way, Dagestan was not ready last year and even more so the year before last for the influx of tourists. But the tourism business began to develop rapidly last year, hotels and cafes began to increase their capacity. So this hotel, even in December, was already preparing for the spring meeting of tourists. This can be seen in the photo.

Our arrival at the hotel took place already in the dark. Night comes early in winter. While the reception was sorting out the documents, I went out through the back door into the courtyard of the hotel and saw that the sea was 50 meters away from me! That's cool!



When I woke up in the morning, I took a shower and immediately went to the sea. Fine, there is no wind and the sea is almost calm. A young man and a girl are walking along the shore. At night we tried the water temperature. Still, in winter the water is not very warm and we are not walruses.









I think that in summer you can buy soft drinks, barbecue and other national meat dishes in this place. Friends, do you see the wooden pallets on the right side of the table?






A place for our breakfast. In summer, the second floor also works, but in December there were practically no visitors at the hotel. But judging by the Christmas entourage, the hotel was ready to welcome guests for the Christmas holidays.









After breakfast, the boys and girls also decided to take a walk to the sea and breathe the sea air. These people are all from Moscow and they rarely see fresh clean air.
You can sit, look at the sea, disconnect your head from constant working thoughts and just relax. But we need to get ready for a further journey. The second day begins and the mountains are waiting for us.






But I was surprised by this. That's so very strange and amazing to see a live banana before entering the hotel. There are even small fruits hanging on it. Still, bananas do not grow in Dagestan.
