Catering establishment (5pics)
Hello, my friends.

Today, by the will of fate, I found myself in a working canteen.
I drove my car to get mixed feed for rabbits at the warehouse complex on Basnaya Street. It was lunchtime and my stomach was telling me - "look for something to eat for me and throw it into me." Next to the warehouse complex, I saw a dining room and decided to look there. There were not very many people in the room, and there were empty tables, so I stayed to have lunch in this place.

I took Solyanka soup and buckwheat porridge with pork goulash for myself. Simple ordinary food in such establishments is for a working person. I will even say more, it is a common food for home consumption. 2 more pieces of rye bread and a salad "Carrot as in Korean".
The lunch tasted quite tolerable. The most important thing is that I stayed alive after using it.
But I took the compote in vain. It tasted more like plain water.

The carrot was certainly not very correct in appearance. It should be cut into longer strips, but in such an institution you should not count on the exquisite appearance of the dish. The price corresponds to what we are given on the counter. The carrots tasted very tasty.

I paid 232 rubles for lunch. At today's RUB-USD exchange rate, this approximately turns out to be $3. It turned out to be "cheap and satisfying".
Oh, and how much will it cost in HIVE?
7.18 Hive

When I had lunch, a group of people came into the hall and stood at the food distribution counter. Basically, all the visitors were in working overalls and a new group of people had the words "Gazprom" on their backs.
Friends, I hope you enjoyed my #MarketFriday hosted by @dswigle.

We you in St. Petersburg? I didn't look at the map yet. I like to know where I am when I am reading the post. :)
I think the food looks simple and enough there to satisfy even a hungry person. They fill all the squares! Protein, Grain, Veggies, and the like. I like going to places that serve the working man. They seem more casual, have good servings, and are well-priced. Thanks for taking the time to break down the price in $$ and in Hive!
Seems like it is a winner... cheap and satisfying means good, yes? :)
Thanks so much for supporting the challenge! I leave the rules, not for you, but for anyone reading this.
#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, and eventually branched out and evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, and even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact that these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world. Thank you for being a part of #MarketFriday

Kirov Vyatka - It is indicated in my information card. It is 1500 km from St. Petersburg to the East. Or I can still say - 1000km from Moscow.
Next time I will be the name of the region in the description.
By the way, pinemapple shows the place on the map.
You are absolutely right - this is a simple and delicious food.
My mother worked in such a place as a pastry chef. I grew up in such a similar place.
Sounds like you have alway had good food in your history. :)
