Buenos días a todos. Hoy me encuentro aquí compartiendo mi participación en la iniciativa convocada por nuestra amiga @mosa71 acerca de "El poder de la manada", y a la que fui cordialmente invitada por mi amiga @popurri. Good morning to all. Today I am here sharing my participation in the initiative called by our friend @mosa71 about "The power of the herd", and to which I was cordially invited by my friend @popurri. Cuando yo decidí salir adelante sola con mis hijos sin la ayuda ni el apoyo de nadie, fue una responsabilidad muy delicada. Me estaba comprometiendo totalmente a construir su futuro con las herramientas más importantes; los valores, la perseverancia y el amor. Para eso tuve que reorganizarme y casi partir de cero, porque fueron muchas situaciones amontonadas, una mudanza, cambio de colegios, nuevo trabajo, nueva ciudad, nuevas amistades, nuevo círculo social, y de la familia el apoyo fue nulo porque se atravesó una diferencia política que los conllevó a tomar la decisión de alejarse y negarnos la ayuda cuando más los necesité.
When I decided to go it alone with my children without the help or support of anyone, it was a very delicate responsibility. I was fully committing myself to building their future with the most important tools; values, perseverance and love. For that I had to reorganize myself and almost start from scratch, because there were many piled up situations, a move, change of schools, new job, new city, new friends, new social circle, and from the family the support was nil because a difference was crossed policy that led them to make the decision to walk away and deny us help when I needed them most.

Para ese momento mis hijos contaban con 10 y 14 años, y mi hijo fue mi mayor apoyo en esa travesía. Casi se convirtió en padre de su hermanita, aunque a veces tenía que recordarle que debía tomarlo suavemente para no crear discrepancias entre ellos, porque ante todo éramos una manada donde todos nos debíamos respeto y apoyo mutuo. Pero era algo que salía de él, estaba pendiente de que ella hiciera sus tareas, fuera obediente, entre otras cosas, siempre sentí que él maduró antes de tiempo, por eso formó una familia tan temprano. Y de esa manera la manada comenzó a crecer.
At that time my children were 10 and 14 years old, and my son was my greatest support on that journey. He almost became the father of his little sister, although sometimes I had to remind him that he had to take it gently so as not to create discrepancies between them, because above all we were a pack where we all owed each other respect and mutual support. But it was something that came out of him, he was waiting for her to do her chores, be obedient, among other things, I always felt that he matured before his time, that's why he started a family so early. And so the herd began to grow.

Mi hijo fue el primero en casarse, y al poco tiempo llegó mi primera nieta, el miembro más pequeño de la manada. La esposa de mi hijo tiene unos sentimientos hermosos, siempre ha estado pendiente de mí, cuando mi hijo no podía apoyarme en algo lo hacía ella. Siempre afirmé que yo no había perdido a mi hijo sino que había ganado una hija más. Mi hija menor y ella se llevan de maravilla, se llaman “sis”, y es que eso son, hermanas de corazón. Ella es madrina de confirmación de mi hija, y a su vez mi hija es la madrina de mi nieta. Cuando ellos estaban en Venezuela cada viaje que planificaban nos llamaban para formar parte, y así recorrimos muchos lugares de nuestro país.
My son was the first to marry, and soon my first granddaughter arrived, the youngest member of the pack. My son's wife has beautiful feelings, she has always been attentive to me, when my son could not support me in something she did. I always affirmed that I had not lost my son but that I had gained another daughter. She and my youngest daughter get along wonderfully, they are called “sis”, and that is what they are, sisters at heart. She is my daughter's confirmation godmother, and in turn my daughter is my granddaughter's godmother. When they were in Venezuela, every trip they planned called us to be part of it, and so we traveled to many places in our country.

Pero como todo en la vida sufre cambios, llegaron los nuestros, y cuando la crisis comenzó a afectarlos en medio del crecimiento de la bebé, decidieron probar suerte e irse a otro país, de esa manera la manada se fracturó físicamente pero de alma y corazón nunca, hemos estado tan unidos como siempre y dándonos la mano en cada situación difícil que se nos ha presentado a pesar de la distancia. Han pasado 5 años desde que partieron, y ya mi manada del amor creció un poco más.
But as everything in life undergoes changes, ours arrived, and when the crisis began to affect them in the midst of the baby's growth, they decided to try their luck and go to another country, in this way the herd was fractured physically but in soul and heart. never, we have been as united as ever and shaking hands in every difficult situation that has come our way despite the distance. It's been 5 years since they left, and my herd of love has grown a little more.
Hace 3 años llegó un nuevo integrante, mi nieto, que aún no conozco físicamente pero espero poder tenerlo muy pronto entre mis brazos y darle tanto amor como el que le di a su hermanita cuando estaba aquí en Venezuela. Ella siempre me escribe y me envía sus logros, sus dibujos, sus fotos con su hermanito, y sus paseos con sus papás. Es mi manada, yo la formé con mucho amor y con ese mismo amor ellos están creciendo y haciendo cada día más grande y fuerte el lazo que nos une, estemos donde estemos.
3 years ago a new member arrived, my grandson, who I still don't know physically but I hope to be able to have him in my arms very soon and give him as much love as the one I gave his little sister when he was here in Venezuela. She always writes to me and sends me her achievements, her drawings, her photos with her little brother, and her walks with her parents. She is my herd, I formed her with a lot of love and with that same love they are growing and making the bond that unites us bigger and stronger every day, wherever we are.

Hoy por hoy, de este lado del mundo quedamos dos mujeres de la manada que permanecemos unidas en todo momento. Nos brindamos apoyo en todos los sentidos cuando caemos o estamos pasando por situaciones difíciles; mi hija menor y yo. Ella ya se casó, y su esposo que ya es parte de nuestra manada de amor, nos da todo el soporte necesario para mantenernos de pie. Creamos un grupo en WhatsApp donde sólo estamos nosotros, los que nombré en este post, y entre anécdotas y situaciones divertidas realmente pasamos momentos increíbles.
Today, on this side of the world we are two women from the pack who remain united at all times. We support each other in every way when we fall or are going through difficult situations; my youngest daughter and me. She is already married, and her husband, who is already part of our love herd, gives us all the necessary support to keep us on our feet. We created a WhatsApp group where only we are, the ones I named in this post, and between anecdotes and funny situations we really had incredible moments.

Una linda historia, bendecida con un gran crecimiento familiar, aunque algunos estén lejos, están unidos por el corazón y eso es lo más importante. Muchos familias viven en la misma ciudad y no se visitan, muchos menos se apoyan y eso es triste. Me encantó leerte.
Tienes tanta razón en esa reflexión, y es tan triste la separación de una manada tan unida, pero confiados en que Dios nos traiga el feliz momento de reunirlos a todos nuevamente.
