Last Night Was Arlesey Jammers Night

Wednesday Night is Jammers Night

Well, that used to be the norm every other week, these days it's a little uncertain as the pub we're meeting up in these days is sadly up for sale, so we are not quite sure what the future holds, but hopefully something else will come up.
Officially the pub is closed, but landlord Ray is a music lover and likes us around, so for these evenings, and Saturday afternoons, if we fancy it, he opens the pub for us bringing along some of his friends for a chat and listen.
Sometimes we hold our Open Mics there too, the last one was our Christmas Special I believe.

Some Videos of the Evening

Anke and Steve O - "Calm After the Storm"

This was unrehearsed and needs a little polish on the edges on my part.. 😄

Richard - "Dance the Night Away"

Richard's tunes always get me dancing

Steve O - "I Don't Like Mondays"

A new one by Steve O

Ray - "Meet Me on the Corner"

One of Ray's classics

Steve C - "Purple Rain"

Another classic one

Finally a Couple of Images

The two by the window looking at me and possibly joking what I'm up to, are @todayslight and @steevc.

On the left here we have a Hive newcomer @steve-o2023

Thanks for sharing the videos. It was a good turnout even with a could of local Hivers missing. When I asked for requests I did expect @steve-o2023 to ask for Purple Rain as he usually does :) I always seem to get a chord wrong though.

I loved the songs you two did together.

Maybe it's the only one he knows the words of.. haha
Course not, he's the master of all lyrics.
It was a great night for sure, really enjoyed it.

I do hope The Jammer find a new home.
Been going longer than any other group I know of, and we've had some great fun over the years.
