Summer Escapes: Discovering The Beauty Of Bantayan Island
Hello, everyone! How are you? Yesterday, I shared my Cebu Safari experience with you. Today, I'll take you to our next destination during that trip. We visited Bantayan Island to experience its picturesque scenery and crystal-clear waters. Come and join me!
From Cebu City, we traveled by bus for almost five hours. Bantayan Island is located in the northern part of Cebu. It was quite a long ride, but thankfully, I had a good playlist of songs that kept me entertained throughout the journey.
After that, we reached the port and traveled by ferry for about an hour before finally arriving on the island. I was amazed by how clear and beautiful the water was. It instantly made me even more excited for the rest of our adventure.
From the port, we rode a tricycle to our apartelle. The place looked cozy, and the surroundings already gave us the perfect summer vibe. After settling our things in our room, we immediately prepared for our island-hopping adventure.
Our first stop was Virgin Island. It welcomed us with powdery white sand and crystal-clear water that instantly made me want to jump in and swim. Aside from its beautiful beach, the island also has a 4-meter cliff-diving area for visitors who want a little adventure.
I forgot to take a picture of the cliff because I was too excited to try it. When it was finally my turn, I felt a little nervous, but I gathered my courage by shouting before I jumped. Hehe. Thankfully, I'm still alive after the jump! 😂 It was both exciting and unforgettable, and I would definitely do it again.
The island also has many Instagrammable spots where you can take beautiful photos. They have a small nipa hut, just like the ones in Siargao, and a relaxing hammock where you can rest while enjoying the beautiful view. Every corner of the island was truly picture-perfect.
After exploring Virgin Island, we returned to our apartelle, where a delicious seafood meal was waiting for us. We enjoyed hot seafood soup and freshly grilled fish, and every bite was worth it after a long day of exploring. This experience didn't just satisfy our eyes with beautiful views but it also filled our stomachs with delicious food.
If I were to rate this experience, I would definitely give it five stars. It was truly one of the highlights of our Cebu trip, and I hope I can visit Bantayan Island again someday.

Bantayan Island looks like paradise from this post. The white sand, crystal clear water, and serene vibes make you want to escape the city. I imagine lying on the beach listening to the waves, eating fresh seafood, and taking beautiful photos until my phone battery runs out. Perfect for those in need of a tropical retreat!
