Corn Pudding Recipe That Tastes Sweet And Cute in Shapes

How to make cute corn pudding with simple ingredients.

What types of desserts do your family members or your loved ones like? Whatever the type of dessert, of course, it will make you wholeheartedly often prepare creative desserts, with many variations.

Both fruit and vegetable puddings both have advantages in terms of color appearance and shape. So that we can maximize the ingredients to produce an attractive pudding, we must be able to combine certain ingredients based on the colors of the ingredients.

To create interesting shapes, you can prepare unique forms of pudding molds. Use food-safe silicone molds. The use of pudding molds with silicone material will greatly affect the final shape of the pudding. That will help us get the pudding out of the mold without disturbing the basic shape of the pudding itself. If using a pudding mold that is not made of silicone, we must use additional hot water to remove the hardened pudding from the mold.

This time I have a pudding mold in the form of a snowman. My previous pudding mold was in the form of a spiral blade. I will combine the two for my corn pudding presentation this time.

Corn Pudding Ingredients

To make the pudding set and solid, I use vegan gelatin which I always use in my pudding recipes. It is Agar Powder.

Then to make the texture of the pudding creamy, I use coconut milk which I will blend together with the corn.

  • A sachet of Agar powder or about 7 grams.
  • 2 cups of corn
  • 1 cup of sugar, or according to the level of sweetness of your taste.
  • sprinkle of salt
  • 500 ml of coconut milk
  • pandan leaves or vanilla to create fragrance



Cooking Instructions

STEP 1

Make corn juice. The trick is to blend corn with coconut milk and sprinkle on salt. After making juice, then strain and discard the pulp. Make sure the maximum dose for the mixture of corn and coconut milk is 1000 ml or 1 liter. If it's still not enough, you can add water or coconut milk.

STEP 2

After finished preparing the corn mixture, then add sugar, so that the powder and pandan leaves. Mix well.

STEP 3

Cook the corn mixture until it boils and bubbles appear. Make sure the mixture boils so the pudding can be set up later.

STEP 4

After turning off the heat, stir briefly to reduce the heat. Then transfer to the pudding mold. Let cool to room temperature then refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.

The result is a sweet taste, a soft and creamy texture. The cute and beautiful shape can be the best reason for children to love these fiber-rich desserts and good for digestive health.
