Hola querida y apreciada comunidad de Hive Blog, en esta oportunidad les presento mis impresiones sobre la película: Resistence, estrenada en el año 2020 y que hasta hace poco tuve la maravillosa oportunidad de disfrutarla y apreciar su pintura escénica y la forma como es contada la vida de Marcl Marceau, para este servidor fue un regalo pues admiro su trabajo y en mi vida personal he tratado de seguir el espíritu de su arte, espero disfruten mis líneas.

Hello dear and appreciated community of Hive Blog, this time I present my impressions about the film: Resistance, released in 2020 and until recently I had the wonderful opportunity to enjoy it and appreciate his scenic painting and the way it is told the life of Marcel Marceau, for this server was a gift because I admire his work and in my personal life I have tried to follow the spirit of his art, I hope you enjoy my lines.

Resistance (2020), es un filme que nos cuenta la historia sobre la notable carrera de la leyenda del mimo: Marcel Marceau en tiempos de guerra, donde la única esperanza era la resistencia francesa que ayudó a miles de niños y adultos judíos a escapar de la Francia ocupada por los nazis. Cada fragmento de está película iba en un tren de emociones y sentí un profundo orgullo de admirar a uno de los más grandes maestros de arte del silencio. La sensibilidad y sutileza de transformar un mundo en llamas y sin esperanza en uno posible, en donde crees, ríes y sueñas con tan solo ser parte del silencio. Resistir para luego amar es la clave de este mundo.

Resistance (2020), is a film that tells the story of the remarkable career of mime legend Marcel Marceau in wartime, where the only hope was the French resistance that helped thousands of Jewish children and adults to escape from Nazi-occupied France. Every fragment of this film was on a train of emotions and I felt a deep pride in admiring one of the greatest masters of the art of silence. The sensitivity and subtlety of transforming a world in flames and without hope into a possible one, where you believe, laugh and dream just by being part of the silence. To resist in order to love is the key to this world.

Otra curiosidad que me encontré al leer su sinopsis fue que estaba escrita y dirigida por el director venezolano de ascendencia judío-polaca Jonathan Jakubowicz, esto indudablemente te llena de orgullo saber que un venezolano pueda contruir una historia muy próxima que te invade el espíritu y el alma, el joven Marcel es el vehículo para mostrar como el arte puede modificar los peores escenarios engendrados por el hombre.

Another curiosity that I found when I read the synopsis was that it was written and directed by the Venezuelan director of Jewish-Polish descent Jonathan Jakubowicz, this undoubtedly fills you with pride to know that a Venezuelan can create a very close story that invades your spirit and soul, the young Marcel is the vehicle to show how art can modify the worst scenarios engendered by man.

Paseandome por las pequeñas historia que cuenta el filme me encantó cómo se plasma la vida de un actor que admira a nada más y nada menos que a Charles Chaplin y es sorprendido por su padre que le ofende que esté en el escenario imitando a Hitler, pero el le explica que no, interpreto al más grande: Chaplin, es una escena muy dura y cargada de emotividad cuando al avanzar en la historia descubres que su padre comparte la misma pasión por el arte, lo que te hace sostener las lágrimas en el borde de los ojos, hermosa relación en la película.

Walking through the little stories that the film tells I loved how the life of an actor who admires none other than Charles Chaplin is captured and is surprised by his father who offends him that he is on stage imitating Hitler, but he explains to him that no, he played the greatest: Chaplin, it is a very hard scene and loaded with emotion when as you move forward in the story you discover that his father shares the same passion for art, which makes you hold the tears on the edge of your eyes, beautiful relationship in the film.

Creo que la miseria de la guerra y sus estragos logran cambiar al joven y regalarnos al valiente y rebelde que cubre con su capa a los débiles de la opresión. El personaje de Marcel Marceau, interpretado por Jesse Eisenberg, es maravilloso, disfrute el trabajo técnico de mimo-pantomima y como captaba la atención de los niños cuando estaban en el refugio, como podía contar una historia através de su cuerpo y tener el silencio como aliado, mágico.

I think the misery of war and its ravages manage to change the young man and give us the brave and rebellious one who cloaks the weak from oppression. The character of Marcel Marceau, played by Jesse Eisenberg, is wonderful, I enjoyed the technical work of mime-pantomime and how he captured the attention of the children when they were in the shelter, how he could tell a story through his body and have silence as an ally, magical.
