El cuatro es un instrumento musical conocido en el mundo entero; como su nombre lo indica es un cuatro porque posee cuatro cuerdas. Este instrumento es utilizado en la mayorìa de los eventos musicales, ya que emite un sonido realmente bello el cual todos deseamos escuchar.

THE FOUR

The cuatro is a musical instrument known all over the world; as its name indicates, it is a cuatro because it has four strings. This instrument is used in most of the musical events, because it emits a really beautiful sound which we all want to hear.

Cabe destacar que desde niña siempre tuve la virtud de ver y admirar a mi padre cuando este tocaba su cuatro; esto era algo realmente ùnico, la mùsica nos traslada a un mundo majestuoso lleno de melodìas y ritmos los cuales podemos vivir y disfrutar a plenitud. Es importante señalar que la mùsica nos relaja, nos hace olvidar cualquier problema que tengamos y nos ayuda a recordar momentos llenos de felicidad.

It is worth mentioning that since I was a child I always had the virtue of watching and admiring my father when he played his cuatro; this was something really unique, music takes us to a majestic world full of melodies and rhythms which we can live and enjoy to the fullest. It is important to point out that music relaxes us, makes us forget any problem we have and helps us remember moments full of happiness.

Hoy fui de visita a la casa de mis padres y nunca pensè recibir esta gran sorpresa. Al llegar a la casa de mis padres mi mamà se encontraba preparando un rico desayuno, el cual compartiò conmigo; al terminar de desayunar comenzamos a hablar, cuando de repente mi papà dice Sorpresa y me muestra su cuatro yò me sorprendì ya que hacia años que no lo veìa y mi papà me dijo te estaba esperando, para obsequiarte uno de mis màs grandes tesoros porque se que tu lo sabràs cuidar y apreciar; en ese instante estaba muy emocionada no sabìa que decir y pensè en voz baja al fin voy a tener mi propio cuatro, para asì comenzar a componer mis canciones.

Today I went to visit my parents' house and I never thought I would receive this big surprise. When I arrived at my parents' house my mom was preparing a delicious breakfast, which she shared with me; when we finished breakfast we started to talk, when suddenly my dad said Surprise and showed me his four and I was surprised because I hadn't seen it for years and my dad told me he was waiting for you, to give you one of my greatest treasures because I know you will know how to take care of it and appreciate it; At that moment I was very excited, I didn't know what to say and I thought quietly, at last I'm going to have my own cuatro, so I can start composing my songs.

Como siempre mis padres, son la mejor muestra de amor, cariño, comprensiòn, fidelidad y admiraciòn que tengo en la vida; ellos de alguna manera u otra nos hacen la vida màs placentera y alegre a todos los que estamos a su alrededor, mi papà es muy alegre le gusta echar chistes y nos hace reìr hasta màs no poder con sus ocurrencias. Mamà, papà los amoooo infinitamente todos los dìas de mi vida le doy las gracias a DIOS, porque todavìa estàn a nuestro lado para aconsejarnos cuando lo necesitamos.

As always my parents, they are the best proof of love, affection, understanding, fidelity and admiration that I have in life; they somehow or other make life more pleasant and joyful to all of us who are around them, my dad is very cheerful, he likes to make jokes and makes us laugh until we can't with his witticisms. Mom, dad I love you infinitely every day of my life I thank GOD, because you are still by our side to give us advice when we need it.

Este dìa ha quedado guardado en mi memoria, como uno de los dìas màs alegres y emotivos de toda mi vida, este obsequio no lo cambiaria ni por todo el oro del mundo. Soy realmente afortunada por haber sido elegida para tan grande regalo.

This day has remained in my memory as one of the most joyful and emotional days of my life, I would not change this gift even for all the gold in the world. I am truly fortunate to have been chosen for such a great gift.

Ahora si me tocarà hacer un curso, para perfeccionar un poco màs la manera de tocar mi instrumento. Sin duda alguna mi papà serìa uno de mis maestros principales, este cuatro para mi tiene un significado y un valor sentimental que va màs allà de todo y de todos.

Now it will be my turn to take a course, to perfect a little more the way I play my instrument. Undoubtedly my father would be one of my main teachers, this cuatro for me has a meaning and a sentimental value that goes beyond everything and everyone.

Puedo asegurarles que este cuatro tendrà un lugar privilegiado dentro de mi hogar y mi corazòn. Ya que al momento de tocarlo me trasladarìa a ese mundo fascinante lleno de melodìas hermosas, las cuales todos quisieramos algùn dìa poder escuchar.

I can assure you that this cuatro will have a privileged place in my home and in my heart. Because when I play it, it will transport me to that fascinating world full of beautiful melodies, which we all would like to be able to listen to someday.
