Tunantal is one of those beautiful beaches in Sucre State, specifically in Mariguitar. I hadn't visited it in years, but recently a lifelong friend turned 25, just like me, so we decided to go to a beach house located in that area. Since I finished college, all I wanted to do was go swimming and spend a whole day having fun and de-stressing, which is exactly what I did with a couple of friends.

The house is beautiful, but there's no cell phone reception. However, you can spend a quiet day enjoying the scenery, which I really enjoyed because it had air conditioning. It's one of the material things I don't have and want to get. Anyway, here are some photos of this incredible place.

Marigüitar is a town located on the southern coast of the Gulf of Cariaco. It is a coastal town rich in scenery. The distance from Marigüitar to Cumaná - Sucre is 38 km. The estimated travel time between the two cities is approximately 47 minutes. I recently traveled to this place, but I hope to travel to more places in Venezuela or Sucre.

In the first image, you can see a pier. That is exactly what gives the place its charm. I remember when I wanted to walk around there, the floor was slippery and there were crabs, ha ha ha. So I had to go around the other side to take these photos below.

To be honest, sometimes I wish I could wake up in Europe, but I feel like I would miss these landscapes. My desire is to travel to different countries (not in the case of migration) and I want to fulfill that desire. But I also feel that these places are beautiful and serve as therapy in times of adult crisis. I was lucky enough to be at a pool, and then a friend encouraged me to go swimming at the beach (I usually swim at the beach, but because it was Women's Day, my mood was at rock bottom). I went swimming anyway and had a good time.

The state of Sucre has many beaches that are good for tourism, including Playa Medina, Playa Blanca
Mochima, and two beaches in Cumaná: Playa San Luis and Quetepe.

All of them contribute to tourism in the state of Sucre. If only government agencies paid more attention and invested more money in the state, instead of just making promises that are carried away by the wind.

I also feel that we should live life to the fullest while we are alive because I feel that we can enjoy shared moments in the present. Living these moments fills me with peace and zero stress because I forget a little about studying. So I am happy, trying even though I have my existential crises.

And I love it because when I see these photos, I immediately think of Rawayana, a Venezuelan band whose style of music is reggae and was one of the bands my older brother used to listen to.

This concludes my beach photos. I am happy to show you a little bit of what Cumaná is like. I love how crystal clear the water is, the waves, and the air. Everything is beautiful. I especially love the view of the pier, which gives the beach its authenticity, like a kind of decoration. This is one of the most notable beaches in Sucre State, located in Mariguitar.

Beautiful pictures! A lovely place to visit for sure! One question though: The foundation of the house appears to be right where the ocean laps up to it. Does that location experience high or low tides? It would seem you might would end up with water in the house! I know that places close to the equator don't experience the high and low tides as I do in my state of Washington, where tides can change as much as 10+ feet depending on the day!

Take care and thank you for sharing! Have a lovely day!

Tunantal beach is wonderful and relaxing. I can almost feel the gentle sea breeze by reading your blog and look at your photos. The pier looks amazing too, I guess the view from it gives another glimpse of the beach's beauty. The rock formtation that green one on the right part of the pier looks stunning too. I was sad to hear that the tourism of the state of Sucre is not given attention by your government. Are their promises just stay in words? Government is always deceptive just like us in the Philippines. I hope your tourism, which is rich, grows larger and sustainable. Anyway, thank you for bringing us to the Tunantal Beach. I enjoyed this piece.❤️

I'm glad you liked the article and took the time to read it in its entirety, as well as showing interest in the pier. Yes, Tunantal is very good and beautiful. How sad that we have this in common with our countries. I hope that we will soon live better. Thank you for your interest in reading and documenting. I love that people from other countries are interested in beaches.
