A year in China

If I had to spend a year in an adult exchange program, I would simply love to live in China, preferably a small town rather than a big and busy city.

I would imagine my host family, that is; a household that would welcome me for sometime and provide me with meals, comfort and a supportive environment and also teach me more about their culture.
I would have a camera with me for the purpose of taking hardcopy photographs of the different places I visit, with the different people I would meet. I know I would come across ancient temples. There are many Chinese restaurants and meals i would love to explore with my taste buds, the tea, ramen and dumplings.They look so tasty in the mukbangs I watch on YouTube.
I would preferably choose to stay under the same roof with grandparents, parents and their children, so I can experience different generational cultures. It would be so fun and educational as well.
For my environment, I picture colorful surroundings with beautiful trees, benches for pedestrians by the side of the street, advanced train stations. Nearby would be mountains, parks and rechargeable motorcycles that would allow me to explore other parts of the country. I would also love to see many Chinese stores that sell Japanese and Korean skincare products. I heard they have the best type of skincare. I know China is living in 2060, way ahead of other countries. I imagine it here being very safe , especially at night.

By the end of the year, I would have countless stories to tell. I would have different contacts I collected in China here on my phone, if not many then a few. I hope to have pictures of me in front of different sites like the iconic skyline in Shanghai and the great wall of China in Beijing.Exploring Beijing would take most of my time, it was the place my favorite movie "the karate kid" was filmed. I wouldn't be surprised if I learnt a little Chinese.
