Coffee And Canvas..

"Don't tell me you're in love!" I excitedly tease Tony, whom I've never heard him catch feelings for anyone. Tony was one of those hard guys who do not fancy romantic relationships, but January this year came as a huge surprise as he never stopped telling me about a particular lady named Jennifer who tickles his fancy.

"I don't know how it happened; I just fell head over heels for this girl." In Tony's voice, I could see in his eyes how much he loved and adored Jennifer and was ready to do anything to keep her.

Yesterday at work, Tony walked into the office looking a bit tense. Being my buddy, I walked up to him to ask what was wrong. "Yo! What's wrong, man? You look so tense." He kept rubbing his hands together, and he was almost sweating in an air-conditioned room. "Amie, while chatting, Jennifer told me how much she loved coffee and couldn't imagine being with someone who wouldn't share the same love for coffee in the world, and I think I am on the verge of losing the only girl that tickles my fancy; you know, coffee is not my thing at all."

My eyes shone brightly because I knew that if Tony lost this girl, he would never open his heart to love again.

"You want to impress her, right?" I asked immediately, "Yes, can you please suggest a great coffee-themed date?" His eyes were almost teary.

"Take a deep breath, man; you know I got you! What does she fancy aside from coffee?" I anxiously ask to get my creative cap on and make this date a perfect one for my friend and the one he adores so much.

"Music, nature, art..." "That's it," I replied while cutting him off.

"Say no more, my dear friend. Have you heard about the sip 'n' dip coffee shop and lounge? It's a cosy coffee spot around the hood that gives you all in one place." I smiled confidently, giving Tony hope.

Imagine taking her to a very beautiful coffee spot with a great ambience, skilled baristas, and a menu offering varieties of coffee and coffee painting.

"Huh, coffee painting? What's that?" He asked in curiosity.

"Oh, buddy, it means you have the opportunity to wow her with your artistic talent using coffee as a primary medium for the paint. With each brush stroke, the rich aroma fills the air as you effortlessly create your masterpiece on the sketch board. You get to use each dab and swirl to capture the essence of coffee, painting the enthusiasm of the woman you adore so much and giving her a very unique coffee experience.

While she sips her coffee, you also dip your brush into the rich palette of hues of coffee inspired by the warmth of her gorgeous smile and the depth of your gaze. Every stroke of the brush would be an amazing ode to your moments together, while the rich aroma of creativity intertwines with the scent of freshly brewed beans. As I opened my eyes, Tony was daydreaming of how perfect this would be. I watched him smile sheepishly, and then, in a moment, he opened his eyes.

"Perfecto!! Thanks, baby girl."Even though I didn't get to sip the coffee, I used the coffee to create a masterpiece for her, and she will forever adore that artwork.

Tony became energized and started to ask me, "Would you like to see everything? You could just act like a customer because seeing you would boost my morale!!"

"Deal!!" I nodded in affirmation.

D-day arrived, and I watched from my little corner how Tony confidently drew the woman of his dreams through coffee painting, how she blushed at intervals and even held his hands. I didn't need a soothsayer to tell me she loved the unique experience, I winked at him a billion times because this love had been sealed, and I was glad I could help that one friend who never believed in love!!!
