Another Noirgazer Event in Istanbul

Hello to the whole community, here I am again with my concert photos!

I told you about the concerts organized by the Noirgazer collective, my previous post in this community was about that (https://ecency.com/hive-194913/@altor/weird-gig-in-church-of)

ISO: 12800, exp:1/100, f/1.8 @50mm

The concert was held at Karga Bar in Kadıköy, Istanbul, which is famous for hosting a lot of alternative music. On four different stages, musicians showed their talents. Of course, Ordinare X, a visual artist who does live mapping in the visual sense, has a big share in making these photos special for me. The fractal and complex visual images projected simultaneously with the music made the photographs even more interesting.

Yaren Eren Budak is an experimental musician who can be seen mostly at independent music festivals in Istanbul, she defines herself as an electronic/electroacoustic musician. She is also a cellist.

Music with Machines; he is both a musician and a teacher. I had the chance to photograph him on two different stages so far. His performance is based on synthesizer. I can say that he has a pleasant and dynamic music.

And - in my opinion - Arden had the strangest scene of the night. From backstage, he walked slowly to the stage in the dark and low tempo music, flanked by two performance artists in fetish outfits. Arden played his songs; sometimes he read poetry/text over his music; sometimes he played a woodwind midi. And the dancers did free dances related to his music. I couldn't take many photos as I was watching this scene with rapt attention, sorry.

I think the other listeners shared my thoughts; it was a good and interesting event.

I took the photos with Sony A7SIII and Sony 50mm f/1.8 prime lens. The darkness of the environment made me a bit nervous at first, but Sony's sensor and working at low aperture saved the photos from possible noiselessness.

I don't introduce myself as a 'photographer' when I meet new people. But I have been taking photos for more than 10 years in many different concepts, either professionally or for my own art. Many times; I have taken photos of concerts and artistic events. These photos are special for me; the detail I like is definitely: the mapping show. It doesn't always happen at every concert :)

I hope you like the photos.
Love.

I have a question: why are you using high iso of 12800? is there a special reason behind it?

good question :) let me try to explain it like this: I was actually shooting a video of this event, the maximum iso value that the sensor can give an image without creating noise when shooting video is 12800 - that is if I shoot in slog3 mode. they call it base iso. i didn't change the ISO value because the place was very dark. let me repeat: this value is for video on my camera; not for photography, and these values may be different in every camera.
