Human life is in constant change. In this flow, it is possible to encounter many interesting and beautiful things. All these are actually moments that add beauty to our lives. That's why I want to preserve the interesting and beautiful things I come across. I used to do this by keeping a diary. I continued this habit from my primary school years until I graduated from university. Then I stopped writing. I think I was writing to get to know myself. After I thought I knew myself well enough, I had no more reason to write

After this general introduction, I realized something... To quit after knowing myself well enough... I hadn't thought of that yet. That's what writing is like. There is no better way to explore our inner world...

Let's talk about the photographs and their stories. The book I read behind the fence opened the door to very different worlds in my imagination. Opposite concepts surrounded me at the same time. Freedom and captivity... To be free while in captivity or to live in captivity while free... What happens depends on us!

If I'm going to talk about freedom, pure freedom, I can't do it without flowers. So unprotected and weak, but at the same time so strong and noble that it makes you want to kneel in front of it and smell it. It is not for nothing that we give flowers to the women we love. Mothers, wives, lovers, sisters and many more. They are the flowers of this world. Without them, this life is cold and pale.

In the last photo you see me on top of a rock. While I am taking a picture of myself, someone else is taking a picture of me, unbeknownst to me, but that's not what really catches my attention here. I am on a magnificent piece of rock. A place more beautiful than the water flowing under the rock!

I am watching life from here. My friends are fishing below. They are in a stream. I realize that we are as happy as we are like the flowing water.

İnsan hayatı sürekli bir değişim içinde. Bu akış içinde birçok ilginç ve güzel şeyle karşılaşmak mümkün. Tüm bunlar aslında hayatımıza güzellik katan anlar. O nedenle denk geldiğim ilginç ve güzel şeyleri saklamak istiyorum. Eskiden bunu günlük tutarak yapardım. İlkokul yıllarımdan başlayıp üniversiteyi bitirene kadar bu alışkanlığım devam etti. Daha sonra yazmayı bıraktım. Sanırım kendimi tanımak için yazıyordum. Yeterince tanıdığımı düşündükten sonra yazmak için bir sebebim kalmamıştı.

Bu genel girişin ardından bir şey fark ettim. Kendimi yeterince tanıdıktan sonra bırakmak… Bunu daha hiç düşünmemiştim. Yazmak böyle bir şey işte. İç dünyamızı keşfetmek için ondan daha iyi bir yol yok…

Gelelim fotoğraflara ve hikayelerine. Tel örgünün ardından okuduğum kitap, hayal dünyamda çok farklı dünyaların kapısını açtı. Zıt kavramlar aynı anda kuşattı benliğimi. Özgürlük ve esaret… Esirken özgür olmak ya da özgürken esaret altında yaşamak… Ne olacağı bize bağlı!

Özgürlükten, katıksız bir özgürlükten bahsedeceksem çiçeksiz olmaz. Bu kadar korunaksız ve zayıf, aynı zamanda önünde diz çöküp koklama isteği uyandıracak kadar güçlü ve asil. Sevdiğimiz kadınlara verdiğimiz çiçekler boşuna değil. Anneler, eşler, sevgililer, kız kardeşler ve daha niceleri. Onlar bu dünyanın çiçekleri. Onlar olmadan bu hayat bir soğuk ve soluk…

Son fotoğrafta beni bir kayanın tepesinde görüyorsunuz. Kendi fotoğrafımı çekerken benden habersiz başka biri beni çekiyor. Ama burada asıl dikkatimi çeken bu değil. Muhteşem bir kaya parçasının üzerindeyim. Kayanın alt tarafında akıp giden sudan daha güzel bir yer!

Hayatı izliyorum buradan. Arkadaşlarım aşağıda balık tutuyor. Bir akışın içindeler. Anlıyorum ki, akıp giden suya benzediğimiz kadar mutluyuz.
