What a hard experience you went through. It is difficult to take off the mask and accept that we dont want to be alone, I think it is a long process, because being alone for a while also seems necessary to me.
I'm glad you have a supportive partner who has given you hope again in love and trust. I'm not on that lucky plane yet, I think even the traumas are haunting me and reading your article makes me wonder if maybe there are things in my subconscious that I haven't wanted to process.
I really admire your transparency, thank you for bringing us an article to reflect on.
