I am a proud African lady. I love everything about African especially our way of dressing. It is true that in this our generation most African countries have adopted the western way of dressing thereby throwing away our culture and identity.

African culture from my own point of view happens to be the best when compared to the culture of others. While, you may not agree with me but I am entitled to my own opinion. The Igbos will say "uche onye a di ya njo" meaning that a man is entitled to his opinion. Having said that I believe so well in the culture which shows very well in our dressing.

WHY DO I LOVE AFRICAN DRESS?
It is said that one will be addressed by the kind of dressing his puts on. For any African man or woman, our dress shows how responsible we are.

1. Our dressing speaks so much on how we love our culture.

2. African dressing reflect our cultural heritage from our fathers.

3. Their colors also show how great African is because it is a representation of the colors we have in Africa

4. The special designs in our dresses are too wonderful. It also show how talented our African designers are.

5. We have different dresses for different occasions. This is what shows that Africans are very rich. We can change our clothes to suit the particular occasion we intend to attend.

6. Our dresses tells a lot about our African fathers. They were great men. The kind of dresses that they design makes it clear that there are skilled men amongs African.

I can't be ashamed of dressing like an African lady. I love it when I go for occasion and see our great Africans dressing in different attires that is very beautiful and colorful. Just three days ago I attended the traditional marriage of a brother in my church. Every body there dressed in such a way that you will love Africa. I saw the dancers with different kind of dancing clothes that looks very good on them. I just decided to take some pictures Incase id I may need them in the future. So, when I saw the topic I know that I needed to use those pictures that I took three days back.

I don't even want to go into the African food that we ate there. You know that African food is very healthy. Forgot about all those junks people eat today in the name of food. When you eat African food, no side effects. Hahaha 😄. I want to live others to talk about the food aspect.
